Wel, as I said about, it is a tough contest and yet it could still go the Bayern way.

I was quite surprised by the results of these two teams. Leverkusen lost home 1 - 2 vs Koln but I think Leverkusen could remain in the same spot since Wolfsburg are unlikely to win vs Dortmund.
Schalke in the other hand made a good job winning vs Mainz with 3 goals vs 2. From being the last one in the table for a period, they are now in the 14th spot. Since the other teams rivals below them are easy then It will not be a surprise to see them returning to the relegation zone.

You are just everywhere making conclusions of who will win the league
The bundesliga might be easier before this season but they do not look so sharp as they did last season, bayern brought tuchel for longer reasons but the fans are so settled on what he brings now. Dortmund still have the first position as the main focus even if they could not win a game last week which they should have

I love the fact that we all are witnessing the close battle for who becomes German Bundesliga winner at the end of the season. Bayern have dominated the the league for the past 9 years and still look set to make it 10 in a row but Borussia Dortmund on the other end is trying to end that dominance.
Bayern stands a better chance of retaining the German title but there's no certainty that they're gonna clinch it

Leverkusen would have gotten an equalizing goal in the first half but they were not lucky enough to utilize all the attempts upon all the crosses. Koln on the other hand were able to make good use of their chances as well as keep a stable defence, and that gave them the win.  I  knew it was going to be like that in the case of Leverkusen and Koln cuz Koln has not won for long and had to give out all they could to secure a win despite being the visiting team.

Schalke scored a very critical victory today. He managed to beat Mainz 2-3 on the road. This was a crucial match for Schalke. With this win, he came up to 14th place. Another critical match of this week is the match between Herta Berlin and Stuttgart to be played in Berlin. I see Stutgart as the favorite even if it is to be played away. Stuttgart is a team with 2 wins and 2 draws in their last 4 games. Bochum will play Mgladbach away and I think he will get a point at best. On the way to the championship this week, I think Bayern Munich will lose points in Werder Bremen.

Both schalke and koln managed to win today in an away game despite being a huge underdog, koln are already safe from relegation and schalke team managed to escape from the zone for now bulter had a huge role in his team win after scoring two goals one of them was in the extra time giving his team important points.

Yes, it's true. Bayer Leverkusen should currently focus seriously on their position in the Europa League and achieve a victory against Roma to move forward towards winning the title.

Schalke struggled in their game against Mainz today but managed to achieve a victory, which will help them move away from the relegation zone.

What a win by Schalke in 100th minute!!! I predicted it earlier that might surprise and they did and what a huge win in their battle for survival. Now they are 14th and 2 positions away from relegation zone with a match more then others. If they survive this might be one of the biggest comebacks to survive in the league

For myself, actually Leverkusen doesn't need to think about this bundesliga match because they feel that a little defeat in the bundesliga is okay, but Leverkusen has another goal to win the title in the European league

Mainz is certainly the stronger team going into this match against Schalke. 32 minutes have been played. And to my surprise, as I was writing this post, Schalke is the one who broke the deadlock. It will be interesting to see if they can actually win this match. There is still a long time to go in this match. Nothing can be said for certain. But I believe Schalke is going to be very confident about winning this match now as they have got themselves a lead

Yes, since the arrival of Xabi Leverkusen has slowly become a promising team, he can make this team find their shape again after the start of the season, bad luck came to them. I also expected Dortmund should be holding that first position on the Bundlesliga 1 table still the end of the competition but it they really surprised me by drawing their match against bochum which I consider as a weak team as the season concern.now it is bayern Munich opportunity and I believe they will try their possible best to win the league despite they are not in that great form as we know the team before.i see more advantages of bayern Munich winning the league than Dortmund  because I see no too strong opponent for bayern Munich in their remaining matches.

If Schalke04 put in a lot of effort, they can be able to avoid the relegation, but it won't be easy for them because they still have to play some tougher opponents following today's game, including Leipzig and Bayern Munich, which I think it will be very difficult to defeat does two teams.


Mainz has been a better team in Bundesliga 1 competition so far this season because they have been able to occupying  eighth position in the table. However, if I have to take into account their past encounters, I would say that schalke04 has a better chance of winning or drawing the game today.So, let know the both teams have a chance to winning, but if it's conceivable, I'd say it's more likely to end in a draw.

Leverkusen need three points not only stay away from Wolfsburg but also how to secure and has chance finish on top fourth position standing, except still has chance with Champion League ticket if winning Europe League competition. Actually, Leverkusen have consistency performance and keep unbeaten last 9 games but they have loss points from last two games after draw with Wolfsburg and Union Berlin. Facing FC Koln have to win if want compete with top fourth position although have many points left from SC Freiburg. But what the achievement from Xabi Alonso bring Leverkusen to European standing position have been amazing because he started when Leverkusen on bottom position standings.

Of course, this belief has a solid foundation
For more than 10 consecutive seasons Bayern Munich has dominate the Bundesliga, that is one of the reasons Bayern will not end their winning streak in the league easily. Even though the two teams is currently only one point apart, I'm pretty sure Dortmund are not ready enough to get a better place than Bayern Munich

Though Leverkusen seems favourable in this match but winning is important for both sides. Koln has won just twice in the last 6 matches and also needs a win in this. Winning today will not take Leverkusen anywhere, it will only protect them from being kicked off by Wolfsburg. As a preparatory measure against their Europa League clash with Roma, Leverkusen may want to relax some significant players in this game so they can have a perfect performance against Roma.  For that, I predict this match to end draw.
