Bayern Munich are a pretty interesting team this season. I wasn't expecting a very comfortable win for them in the Union Berlin match. But they have scored 3 goals in the first half already.

Union Berlin are really desperate in this match. They were actually dominated by Bayern Munich in their previous match also but they got one point anyway. But this time it seems near impossible. Bayern Munich need to be able to maintain the balance between the Bundesliga and Champions League from now on. They are one of the biggest title contenders in both tournaments in the end. A very unexpected result, to be honest. Of course, I immediately thought it was strange odd odds of 8 on Union Berlin. After all, not the weakest team in the league, two teams that are close to each other in the standings are meeting. So honestly I was hoping that Union Berlin will be able to give battle to Bavaria and impose their game, but what is happening does not leave a chance for Berlin.

The result of today's match will determine which team has the chance of winning the Bundesliga league . I know it will be challenging for Bayern Munich, from the performance of union berlin they have done well in this season that it can be challenging to Bayern Munich to win.

Regardless of this match or not actually for the title obviously it will stay the same only for Bayern but maybe now it increases Dortmund not for the others whether it be any club including Union I would not consider them in the real title race.

Bayern will probably play their best players against Union and beat them but I think where Union will find their most success is when Bayern are more occupied with the Champions league and will drop points on those weeks and Union need to try their hardest to win on these weeks. Union probably need to go very defensive in the game and look to get a point at least. If they frustrate Bayern enough I can see them getting 1 break away and scoring but they need to make sure that they take points off Bayern even if that is drawing.

I do not think they underestimated the Bundesliga but they are prioritizing the champions league. Bayern always win the Bundesliga and for their fans it has become a formality which I think is why the Champions League and winning it would be better for them. I think it is impressive that a team can do well in the Champions League and still challenge for the Bundesliga title because they play a lot more games. If Union do not start taking advantage of the dropped points by Bayern they could lose out at their best chance in their history to win the league.
