I don't think we have to congratulate Union Berlin for being able to sit at the top of the table in a few weeks, because what the competition looks at is how they are at the end of the competition. Union Berlin is not going to perform better from here on. I agree that they are at their level. At the start of the season, they were basically overachieving. @rahmad2nd I wouldn’t rule them out of the top 4 just yet, because this league is really unpredictable and so many time’s I have felt that Dortmund would win it and then saw them blow their lead away hence I feel that Union Berlin can yet end up in the top 4. Lastly if you see the table then you’ll notice that only Bayern has a good lead, but 2nd to 5th ranking team’s are separated by only 3 points hence I’m 100% sure that we’ll see lots of shuffle between these 4 team’s till the season end’s.

The situation that already happened with berlin and bayern are different. berlin was leading the league from early until mid of season and then the performance from berlin became very bad but the thing that makes it different with bayern is the mentality from the players.
Bayern has a very strong mentality as it was always become champion in the bundesliga and so loosing its first position during the early season was not so bad like berlin. Berlin is still struggling with its performance.
Im sure that if people are also aware about that too. Berlin may not able to leave from the bad performance that already happened with it.

IMO, Union Berlin will not be able to return to the top of the Bundesliga, even to finish in the top four until the end of this season is very doubtful. they are currently ranked 5th, even to maintain that ranking is quite difficult. below him is Dortmund, in 4th place are Frankfurt, 3rd and 2nd are Leipzig and Friburg. however, the struggle for ranks 2 to 4 is still wide open and still very competitive

After break if we have good performance from Dortmund and few other clubs then surely we can expect more downfall from them because now Leipzig and Frankfurt already at their best and things could be not easy for them in coming weeks.

bayern munchen will be more relaxed because they are 4 points away from SC Freiburg so they can focus on the Champions league later and I also think Bayern munchen will maintain their position at the top of the german league standings and will not let them lose points that easily, i also believe munchen is still with good form so they will continue to be there at the top of the table and focus on the champions league in the last 16 later
