in the end, the plans that Dortmund had prepared did not work out as they should.

As well as what happened to Bayern Munich.
After Lewandowski's departure, things went smoothly at first with Sadio Mane. but after playing a few games, Bayern have lost their momentum because they don't have a main striker who is usually a finisher. even so, Bayern are slowly getting back into form, even though Nagelsmaan has to fiddle with his strategy in every match he will play.

On the other hand, Union Berlin became the only team that performed differently.
so far, they are still performing very consistently even though it has to be paid for with hard work. however, Bayern Munich's dominance is still very strong in the Bundesliga.
as we previously predicted, it is only a matter of time for Bayern to return to being top of the Budesliga standings.

Bayern never disappoint when it comes to playing 5+ goals when it comes to DFB pokal games and even though they are still shaky at best, they at least destroyed Augsburg 5-2 yesterday after beating Freiburg 5- 0 in the weekend.

I won't be quick to wave off their chances of climbing back to the top because they still have that fighting bone in them and could quickly become a threat to Union Berlin's reign at the top spot and it could be made possible as they are just 4 points away from doing that.

I think I will have to slightly disagree with you on this point. It is with great pleasure that I am one of those fans who would love to see Union Berlin win the league this season. As a matter of fact, it's no wonder the German league is called the farmers league since, for the past ten years, it has been just Bayern who have won every single time. The other reason why Bayern are a bit behind this season is that Lewandowski has left them, and for quite a while he was their main goal scorer for them. After a decade, we might be able to see some competition in the German league after Dortmund also puts up a fierce fight. In the past, it was just a question of how many points Bayern would win this season. This has got to change.

I am guessing that the reason why they were bad at the start of the season is unknown (or at least unknown to me) but they seem to fix it, and playing a lot better these days. If they can keep this up in a sustainable way, they should be beating most of their opponents once again.

Hoffenheim would be in trouble in that case, I remember even last year when they were good, they got a tie, and I am guessing that Bayern will want to get revenge of that game this time around.

It's only a matter of time because for the champions we know for sure that together with Bayern we will be there no matter what happens now, but at the end it is Bayern who will stand alone like a few seasons before.
Union's performance this season has been quite good but this is definitely a bit different because they are now quite busy with a hectic schedule and this is the first time they have been this busy so indeed when they struggle there is no hope of staying at the top.

It depends on how they can maintain their current form, because once they slip then Bayern Munich will easily overtake them in the standings. Bayern Munich is very likely to win this match. The match against Freibug became an example that their performance was so good by creating a staggering 5 goals. We know that Freiburg is one of the clubs who have played well this season, but Bayern Munich could easily beat them with a very landslide score. Even though they won't do the same, they will still win the game by a difference of 2 goals or even more.

Hoffenheim and Bayern in the last match managed to win with a striking score and of course this can be capital for both parties in seeing the upcoming matches.
But in this case it is clear that Bayern will be the favorite, even though Hoffenheim this season stole the attention with their first few games but in terms of player quality it is clear that Bayern are superior now, even though in terms of strength the Hoffenheim team is still above average for this season.
But I'm pretty sure with Bayern and these odds are definitely good enough to make a bet.

As Hoffenheim are having a good season now Bayern Munich might not be very comfortable as much as in the Freiburg game. I just see both teams to score as the best option to go with for this one @1.45. Bayern Munich still have weaknesses in offense so Hoffenheim would be able to score at least one goal here. Bayern Munich shouldn't have much problem on scoring with the help of the momentum they got from the Freiburg game.
