Xabi Alonso has no history with a team as a manager except Real Sociedad B. Therefore this is a quite big risk to take for Leverkusen.

They are in a really poor shape now and we see them at the second last position in the standings. The Bayern Munich loss was the tipping point for Leverkusen board. Let's see how good they will do with Xabi Alonso. Actually he played in the Bundesliga before for three seasons. Taking this into account he might be considered as experienced in this league. If he adapts to the players quickly then maybe things can go on well for him to help his team recover in the first half of the season.

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
now it's official - bayer leverkusen sacks Gerardo Seoane and immediately introduces his successor. with Xabi Alonso comes a coach who has been very successful at national team level, making spain world champions in 2010 and european champions in 2008 and 2012. most recently he coached the second team of real sociedad

I cannot say right now that Bayern Leverkusen has made a good decision as far as this decision goes. To be honest I have not seen him as a coach enough to say anything in my opinion.

Obviously, there are a lot of people saying a lot of things at the moment, but I will only be able to comment when I see the results that he will be able to bring. There will be a lot of talk now about the fact that he has never managed a major club before. Nevertheless, I believe he is going to be able to handle the situation well.

As a matter of fact, Xavi also didn't have any major managerial jobs until he became a manager at Barcelona. If we look at how he played in his Real Madrid days we will be able to see that he used his head a lot while playing. However, it is still going to be a very hard job to live up to the expectations set for us.

Leverkusen's performance this season needs significant improvement and it's actually quite regrettable to continue to force Gerardo Seoane until this 8th game because they could actually speed things up so it doesn't get too bad on the result.
Xabi is one of the players who might be able to lift his performance because he already knows what the Bundesliga is like because he has experienced it before, although I'm not really sure they will return to the way they were before.
Finally a series of bad results Leverkusen led to the sacking of their coach, Gerardo Seoane. Yes, the results achieved by Leverkusen are indeed very possible to end the collaboration with the coach, and today we saw that it really happened. Xabi Alonso comes with a very tough task and must improve the Leverkusen squad from every line, including improvements in the standings which are currently in the relegation zone. Xabi will start his work by laying the foundation for Leverkusen's game, I hope he can move quickly even though it's very difficult. But we'll see what Xabi will provide for this Bundesliga club.

Bayern Munich has corrected their poor stat to start of the season. Their two past matches (one for local league and the other for champions league), their performance was great. With the same energy, I believe that Bayern Munich will win Dortmund and claim the top spot on the table and one important thing to note is that if Bayern climbs to the top again, they may not step down again till the end of the season.
I hope that bayern will always be showing the good performance like that. I do like how bayern was playing from last two matches. It seems like bayern can continue this good trend. im sure that bayern can go back to the top position as soon as possible once bayern can consistently win against the next opponents. that's good to see how bayern has been starting to go back to the right track after it was going down.
It's only a matter of time, sooner or later Bayern Munich will again lead the standings. Now that Bayern Munich have managed to sit in third place, they have collected 15 points from 8 matches. Munich is very close to the leader of the table, two points difference is not so difficult to catch up with Union Berlin and Freiburg who are in position one and two.
There are still many games left in the Bundesliga, Munich will show who they really are. The dominance of Munich still cannot be broken by other teams, although currently they are still in third place, at the end of the season only Bayern Munich will win the Bundesliga trophy.

Congratulations to Xabi Alonso, this is his first job as a manager in the senior level, he was previously manager of Real Madrid under 14 team and Real Sociedad team B, so we can say he does not have too much experience as a manager, but it has to start from somewhere and he can build on this and set himself a good standard as a manager. He has a lot of work to do by the way, Bayern Leverkusen have only 5 points this season, and they are 17th in the table, he will feel he can do good and change their position to something better, and i wish him good luck.

That was probably too much for the people in charge at Bayer Leverkusen. After losing 0:2 against Porto in the Champignos League yesterday the media are saying that the current coach Gerardo Seoane will be sacked. It is not official yet but the media usually knows very well.
Xabi Alonso is being discussed as a possible new coach.

Quite an expected decision. If in the Champions League the position of Bayer is still not critical (although they have to fight with Atlético and Porto for second place), then 17th place in the championship is a failure that cannot be forgiven. It is clear that Bayer will rise in the standings and not be relegated from the Bundesliga, but the distance to the top 4 is already such that it is unlikely that Bayer will get a place in the Champions League next year even if they start playing well right now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that Leverkusen coach Gerardo Seoane has to be sacked in the near future. A very clear reason if that really happened is their poor performance. In fact I can say that he is lucky enough to still survive until now. Being in the relegation zone is something very bad for a team like Leverkusen. Even recently I heard that Leverkusen had made an offer to Thomas Tuchel but got rejected.

Tonight Bayern Munich won big again (in the CL but still). Last time they also won their match easily. We may have to put off the bad start and assume that they are back in the form of the Bayern as we know it. Incidentally, it is a bad start for Bayern, but not a dramatic one. Maybe we shouldn't overdo it. It's a shame for Dortmund that they can't take advantage of it and lose points themselves every time. This is not only due to the departure of Haaland, of course. I think Bayern Munich will win the league that Dortmund will be 2nd.
Bayern Munich have not been struggling with the Champions league since it began the season,  their first which was against Barcelona that I thought that it will be very difficult for them was just the opposite. Their match against pezen was very Impressive. Bayern Munich has always been good in Champions league, it is only in the Bundesliga sometimes back Bayern Munich had a terrible performance but I think now they are fully back now.

For me honestly showing your power against weaker clubs are not anything to me
Show yourself against a big side and then you see how far you've gone
Bayern are doing well but I tend to test them during European competition
That's a good assessment when you see their performance in the European competition. And they should be because it can be said that they will have no trouble in domestic competition. In European competition the opponents they will face are tougher than those in the Bundesliga, the same thing we have to see from Paris Saint-Germain for example from Ligue 1 because there too they are the only team with the highest nominations for the championship title. So it's appropriate for them to see how they work in the European competition.

Bayern vs Dortmund matches are always fierce even though Dortmund are difficult to win but they will provide a commensurate resistance and make the match interesting.
but this time Bayern are in an unstable form, although last weekend they have started to win again with big scoring matches and so have their matches on the UCL stage.
and on the other hand Dortmund are also less consistent in their performance.
That way in my opinion in this match anything is still possible for both teams, even though Bayern are slightly favored with the quality of the players they have.
The top of the standings is currently at stake by Dortmund and they must try as much as possible to maintain that position, because if Bayern Munich manages to win again then Dortmund will automatically be eliminated and Bayern Munich will return to first position, Dortmund in this match must be serious about defending and working as a team. well so as not to be conceded by Bayern Munich.

Bayern would have been the Strongest club if they had signed Erling Haaland from Dortmund as they did with Robert Lewandoski

However, FC Bayern isn't a club who pays €150m for a new striker. They got Mané for a very fair price and I think they made the right choice there. Haaland wanted to play in the Premier League, there is no point offering him hundreds of millions if hes not interested in playing for Bayern anyway.

The Bundesliga WhoScored Team of the month September has just been published:

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1577639006728323072

Very interesting that there are only two players from supposed top clubs in the team of the month. Namely Musiala from FC Bayern Munich and Orban from RB Leipzig. This only underlines once again the very mixed performances in the Bundesliga. Above all, the fact that once again no Borussia Dortmund player is represented speaks for Dortmund's disappointing performances.

It's a shame for Dortmund that they can't take advantage of it and lose points themselves every time. This is not only due to the departure of Haaland, of course. I think Bayern Munich will win the league that Dortmund will be 2nd.

That is exactly the point. Even if FC Bayern doesn't play a perfect season in the Bundesliga, its competitors have enough problems of their own.

And this problem has existed for years. Neither Borussia Dortmund, nor RB Leipzig, nor Bayer Leverkusen manage to play consistently for a single season. There have been great games, but throughout the season there also have been periods of very very poor performances. And that leads to FC Bayern being at the top again at the end of the season and becoming Bundesliga champions.

I had a little hope at first that it might be different this year, but in the end it's business as usual. Pretty disappointing for the Bundesliga.  Undecided

But they let that slipped through their fingers with all eyes on trying to hold Lewandoski down when he was forcing the move to Barcelona.
The game between them both always brings lots of goals, this will be another huge Bayern Munich and Borrussia Dortmund game during the week. Can Dortmund get three points this night ? I am not sure no but they can get a win in either of the halves.

At the moment Bayer Leverkusen is playing against Porto in the Champignons League. Those in charge will be watching very closely to see how the coach is acting and how the team is playing. I think if they will lose Gerardo Seoane will be sacked tomorrow and a new coach will have to be brought in. The next game in the Bundesliga is against Schalke.
Leverkusen's players are very weak in the Bundesliga. But they are playing very well in the Champions League. Leverkusen's performance against Porto is also good in today's match. This is Porto's home match so I expected Porto to dominate this match. Neither team could score in the first half. Porto scored a goal but it was disallowed and Leverkusen was awarded a penalty but they failed to score. My guess is that Porto will be able to win this match or this match will be a draw.
Leverkusen is clearly the biggest disappointment of this season as right now they are in relegation zone with just one win from their eight matches and with last night result where they lost against Porto now their chances for qualifying into next round is also in doubt because this is currently interesting situation in group with Club Brugge is right now at the top with three out of three wins, and now they need only one win which give them spot in next round and for remaining one spot three clubs are fighting where Atlético Madrid is favourite with Porto and Leverkusen both have equal chances for going out of the competition their defence is weak, and their attack is also not working as it needs to be done for having better results if they want to stay in competition Bundesliga and Champions League then surely they need to do hard work in coming days.

It was such a disappointing thing seeing Leverkusen player loosing the penalty awarded to them. If I'm right that was the second time he has lost a penalty kick for a week or two now against Portugal.

Yes, it was very curious how that penalty kick came about. But the fact that Patrick Schick did not get the penalty kick into the goal shows the mental stability of Leverkusen. They are very unstable at the moment and I also believe that they will not even get a third penalty kick into the goal.

It was actually a through ball into the eighteen yard box which was obstructed by Porto's defending player which although wasn't an intentional act. Thanks Goodness for the help of VAR they saw and reviewed that by calling on the game official.
That penalty kick ( Spot kick ) miss from Patrick Schick would have kept put them ahead of the game also, it would have kept his current managers current in jeopardy/detrimental state if former Chelsea manager accepted the offer from Leverkusen.

Go take a good look at how they have been in the Bundesliga and you'll noticed they have also been poor from start as they currently contain sixteen position on the table. He Patrick Schick might be dismissed from his penalty duties that's if he does eventually misses the next one if it gets to him again.

Bayern won big: true but vs which team? Plzen.. They aren't a good one at all and its level is way down the Bayern's one. It is an irrelevant argument imo.
Next match of Bayern in Bundesliga will be against Dortmund so it is whether they increase the gap between them or risks letting the other teams catch them'
Later they will play vs Freiburg and Hoffenheim. All these teams are surrounding Bayern so it has an interesting opportunity to increase the gap.

Of course, Bayern's big win over Viktoria deserves appreciation, even though the opposing team is not commensurate with the strength that Bayern has. yet in that match Bayern again rotated players, placing Serge Gnabry as the main striker, and Sadio Mane remained as a winger.
This strategy goes according to Nagelsmann's wishes, in this match Mane becomes Man Of The Match. somehow without the presence of Muller, Bayern played very aggressively in that match.

next week Bayern will play an away match at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund's home ground. can Bayern play like in the Champions League match, when playing the match versus Dortmund.
I'm sure, right now Bayern are starting to return to their previous form of play, and it seems that Dortmund will be defeated at home in the match against Bayern.
