I didn't expect them to meet so soon and obviously there is something to be said when Bayern win later because it will indirectly be said that Even if Bayern were without Lewandowski in fact they could still have done better. For me the most difficult group would be group A: Liverpool, Ajax, Napoli and Rangers.

We will see this year how many goals the players would have. I am not saying that Lewandowski managed to do all of this just because he is good, of course Bayern being an amazing team played a role, but this guy once had 5 goals in 9 minutes and you are calling him overrated? Yes, I agree. They have been able to set up a system that deals easily with whatever it is that will bring about poor performance. For instance, their transfer strategy is top notch. Low risk strategy without non-sense spending in transfer or salary. Most of their core players are developed in house, bargain buy or dirt cheap free transfers from domestic league. In addition, they have good sponsors in Adidas , Allainz, Audi as owners, club legends managing the club. Mane has adapted well to the Bayern Munich team. Mane is doing a great performance since the first match. And so now Bayern Munich fans are not missing Lewandowski.
