I think what you say is true, the Bundesliga is monotonous especially when compared to other leagues such as the English Premier League, the Spanish League which does provide an interesting spectacle compared to here. It is the task of all aspects directly related to the League to be able to improve this Bundesliga. It takes time but I think it can be done as long as they are willing to do it.
In my opinion, even though the Bundesliga is Monotonous, I think that the Bundesliga still gets enough interest, and with the Robert Lewandowski reign people are questioning if there would be a team that can get them down the championship, they also thought that the Dortmund Erling Haaland would do that job to give them competition, but as time progresses, Erling Haaland has many injuries and can not play for Dortmund that halts the competition against the Bayern Munich, but as we have news that Erling Haaland will say goodbye to Dortmund, there are rumors that Robert Lewandowski doesn't have good terms with Bayern Munich, that could lead him to say goodbye to the Bundesliga aswell,
That was impressive indeed but you know, everything could happen in the last round

Bayern and Leipzig getting a draw. Freiburg losing its EL spot after their defeat against Leverkusen, they will play Conference League instead.
Stuttgart survived and Hertha will go through relegation play-offs
Anything can happen on the last matchday you can not expect the 1st and 2nd standing team, to really win in these circumstances, because they will not be their 100% as of now, and I was really shocked with Leipzig getting a draw with Arminia which is really not expected because they are I a crucial state against Freiburg,
I agree, not only the position where they finished the league but also the game they showed on the field is not promising for the future. I don't think Leipzig will even be in the top 4 unless big changes are made in the team next season. Dortmund is better prepared than Leipzig for next season despite losing a superstar like Haaland.
I am still rooting for Leipzig despite Dortmund losing Erling Haaland they still got a good new transfer for their team that kinds of intrigues me, but Leipzig in my opinion just needed a push they can get, to be themself again, a new recruit will be a good option, but we can not know if they still got the financial capacity to get it,
