The gap just became bigger between dortmund and bayern its now 6 points unfortunatly dortmund team were not able to make a comeback against bochum despite the domination in the second half 18 goal attempts 5 shots on target and 13 off they only managed to score one goal unlike bayern team who managed to win after a second half comeback because they were more efficient and surgical.

I can say that they were a bit unlucky as they missed clear goal opportunities against Dortmund-Bochum. Their inability to seize these positions has come at a cost. Mainz scored the first goal of the game too early. Bayern munich scored the first goal with a long pass from the defence, Coman caught the ball and caught the goalkeeper between the legs. It was a beautiful goal. They were able to score the second goal before it was too late.

It must be really devastating to see Dortmund failing to beat even a competitor like Bochum. I remember the game that Bayern Munich demolished Bochum by a 7-0 score. I hoped for Dortmund to get an easy win too. But they hardly saved one point. And Bayern Munich's comeback wasn't surprising after seeing their previous head-to-head in this stadium. By these results, the point difference has gone up to 6 between Bayern Munich and Dortmund.

Mainz was able to get at least one point but they failed. Dortmund was able to keep the same distance from Bayern but they failed. Wolfsburg was among the top teams but they failed and now they are 10th. The problem is consistency...too hard to maintain these days.
The interesting thing I find is Hoffenheim, they jumped a lot since the beginning and now passed Freiburg, interesting Wink

It's true that the momentum is definitely not on Dortmunds side at the moment and today is also the first day that i feel that they were quite unlucky with the outcome of the match. They had so many chances but they jut did not manage to score early and then Bochum got a penalty and scored and in the second half it was the same. Dortmund had a lot of chances but they were just not efficient enough and also the Keeper of Bochum made a great game today. So pretty unlucky for Dortmund but that being said they were also pretty lucky already in this season they could have easily lost against Leverkusen and Köln but they won those games so the can not complain overall i think.

They often know how much effort is required to turn these games around. It is no coincidence that in 90% of the time they do turn these games around. Gladbach in the Cup was an absolute exception, that is not going to happen twice to them in a season. The squad is also big enough with high quality players and Nagelsmann can always react to certain situations.

But that is the difference between Bayern and the other teams. Bayern has a bad day and they are still winning. Dortmund has a bad day and they are lucky if they dont lose (like today). I do not believe there will be any surprise who will win the league this year

They answered with two goals and closed the door for Gladbach. The players must be very contented about their performance and the result.

If Dortmund now even loses points against teams like Bochum I guess the season is pretty much over. It probably was over before it even started. Bayern can concede goals, but in 9/10 cases they are going to come back for sure. Surprise that Lewandowski didn't score! Wink

dortmund's performance in the last few matches has been very unsatisfactory as well as this match, they are so difficult to find rhythm and even very difficult to score goals.

The tight schedule at domestic and UCL could be one plausible reason, but of course with a team like Dortmund I expect something more from them and this makes me very confident that Munich will again be champions by a large points difference

Bit disappointed to see Dortmund not winning the last match against VfL Bochum yesterday. The next 4 matches are very important for Dortmund to hold its top 2nd place and a slight chance for 1st place if Bayern looses few points in the upcoming match. But yes Bayern are really proofing that they are much stronger and beyond than other teams by winning every match recently. Yesterday's match was awesome between Bayern and Maniz. Maniz did try their best from the mid-table position. Need to appreciate them as well.
