It is all about consistency. bayern is always at a top level in the important games and can then start a very long winning streak. if fcb should lose or draw, dortmund or leipzig is not in a position to take advantage of this situation in the long term and loses its own points in the supposedly easy games.
bayern has the class to handle this pressure and this situation over the whole season (even if they should get very far in the dfb-cup and champions league)

I honestly believe that Bayern was so much better than gladbach as well, if we are going to base it on the friendly they had, then I would understand the expectation for a tough game for Bayern but the last Bundesliga game they played, Bayern won 6-0, if you are basing your predictions on previous games then it is obvious that Bayern won 6-0 last time so they should have won this time around as well but that didn't happen and Gladbach got a tie out of that game.

I believe that Bayern should dominate Koln very very easily, it should not even be a problem for them, we are all expecting them to win by a big margin but at the end of the day I expected that from the Gladbach game as well and that didn't happen. Which is why I honestly think that we should not be expecting anything out of anyone right now since it is early season and anything could happen.

I saw that Dortmund lost to Bayern Munich 1-3 in the Super Cup match. I must admit that it was really a surprising result to me. Because Dortmund started the season much better than Bayern Munich. Dortmund's goal is the winning title. They need to play better to win the title. They did not perform well against Bayern Munich. They made only 8 shots. Bayern Munich had made 17 shots. Dortmund needed more attacks. They have to remember, attacking is the best defense.

Dortmund are a good team. Their attacking lineup is good enough. I think they become emotionally weak when they playing against a strong team like Bayern. They played great in the first match of the league and dominated the whole match. But their gameplay against Bayern was very weak.

Obviously in this case bayern munchen have better experience than dortmund in fighting for the DFL champion, but what interests me is the 2 winning goals scored by lewandowski, this proves that he has more experience than haalaand and confirms that lewandoski is still a one of the best strikers in the German league.

True, in that match dortmund also played quite well and was able to make the bayern münchen defense work quite hard, but indeed the luck factor was still in favor of bayern münchen, i think with the dortmund squad that exists like now they will be able to become competitors for the bundesliga title this season.

Haaland really just creating this legendary career from early age, dude is only 22 years old if I am not wrong and he is still considered one of the best finishers in the world right now, sure there could be few you can name but I am sure everyone have him at the top or about. The weird thing is, I wouldn't expect a player like him still being at a club like Dortmunds level, I would have expected him to be paid insane amount of money and bought by some other team.

I understand that it is not really that weird to see him still on his first "big" club if he was a bit worse, but this dude had his foot in 5 goals yesterday, last season he was only behind Lewa and that's a guy who broke a record, that's normal to be behind him. I would have bought Haaland with whatever I have, sell some of my big names and still get him if I was any other team, pay 200 million if you have to, this is a guy who can score for more than 10+ years for you, what else can you ask from a player? When will you be able to get a player like that ever again? So every big club should get rid of everyone and definitely get him.

Chelsea were hoping to sign Haaland this summer. There were some rumours like they were going to offer an amount around €175m for him. But Dortmund weren't leaning towards a deal like this. They didn't want to let him go so soon. They want to achieve titles I guess before selling him. Maybe they managed to keep him at the club for now. And Haaland seems still happy to be here. But the next summer, Dortmund will have a big problem on keeping him for a longer time.

I think a lot of people fell for the odds because it was over 3x if you used price boosts,,, I also thought Haaland was for sure to score in the match but he was not on the scoresheet while his nemesis old man managed to put his name down twice.

Haaland has a few opportunities but he failed to score. He made a few great passes to his mates but they failed to score. Overally I think Dortmund have an acceptable match and they did not let Bayern dominate the match too easily.

That game yesterday was really nice and exciting to watch as both teams played pretty aggressively and at no moment you could see that the supercup is basically a trophy without any value at all. The odds before the match were this time probably more in favor of borussia Dortmund as they won their first Bundesliga Match in a very convincing way and Bayern only managed to achieve a draw against Gladbach. Dortmund also started way stronger and was clearly the better Team in the first 25 minutes of the game and reus had a huge Chance to score there, but then bayern became stronger and in the end there victory was well deserved.
Bayern has now won the last 6 matches against Dortmund in a row.

I just saw the review of the match now and from what i have seen it was a awesome nice game from both teams !
Nice goals from Munich and also the one from Dortmunds Marco Reus was played well.
