Okay. So there is a new coach for Werder Bremen, Thomas Schaaf. For the last straw. At least one game but maybe three games will decided if Bremen will stay in the upper house or if they will relegate.

A very tough work is waiting for him right now. If he manages to motivate the players and Bremen gets a win against Gladbach, he will do a great job right from the start. But of course, he won't be guilty if the team still relegate from the Bundesliga.

Yes, it is going to be really hard for Thomas Schaaf to keep his team in the league. If Gladbach didn't have a chance for the Europa Conference League, then I'd see Bremen's chance here as much higher. But there is no such situation right now.

Yeb , it makes really no sense to change the coach for the last final game mostly , it can be bring something but i also guess it will be not.
Wasnt there last season something like that already that they changed the Coach for the last 2 relegation games ?

Also in the second league there is still nothing fix and 3 teams fighting for the direct going up into the first league.
There will be some intresting matches in the next week for sure.

The club's decision to change the coach comes too late. The club is playing for its existence. Bremen has racked up debts of over 50 million euros in the last two years. The equity capital of 10 million is shrinking like ice in the sun. If Bremen were to be relegated, they probably wouldn't get a license in the second league. The only hope is a 30 million fan bond at an interest rate of 7%. In principle, however, the interest rate means that it is unlikely that the bond can be repaid.

Yet another giant falling down: who would have imagined Werder Bremen and Schalke 04 in their current positions at the beginning of Bundesliga? I wouldn't have paid a satoshi, not for a single team of those two possibly being relegated.
Nothing is forever, big teams can come and go. Werder could still make it and save the season but as you guys pointed out financially speaking is all a big mess.

I agree that sometimes clubs with big budgets like PSG and Manchester City often give surprises, but now in a situation of financial crisis,
I think PSG and Manchester City will definitely consider bringing in another attacker who may be cheaper. There are several names of other
attackers such as Harry Kane and Lewandowski who are other alternatives if they fail to meet  an agreement regarding Haaland's transfer fee.
Big clubs are readily to spend money for huge transfers if players are outstanding and young enough. Haaland have all big clubs need. It is just time before he leaves to a giant club.

With Dortmund's 3-1 victory over Mainz, of course, Dortmund has managed to lock in the top 4 so that their ticket to the Champions is wide open
Congratulations BvB for Champions League but they should be a biggest opponent for Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich. Fighting only to get a ticket to Champions League is a failure for BvB.

He is really under a lot of pressure in this match. I think that Koln will most probably win their match against Schalke as the season for schalke is basically already over and Koln desperately needs the points. Werder is only 1 point ahead of Koln at the moment so they need to win their match against gladbach. Gladbach can still reach a position that qualifies for the newly created Uefa conference league so they will not be an easy opponent like schalke. Bremen could really lose everything in this last match.

Indeed he has a lot of pressure, but i expect Werder Bremen to win. As for Schalke I would not write them off. They hav won theier last games against Frankfurt with 4:3. And that was a very important game for Frankfurt to keep up with a Champignons Leage Qualification Place.

It is really so soon to say it, but I guess that Schalke is feeling a bit under the whether they will surely need a bigger score to put on points to their standings but Koln is in desperate need of a win as well so I think this can be a great fight each team will need to try their best in not letting the other team score, and even try to win this it seems that Schalke is heaving a hard time winning against Koln on their earlier match but we will see if this match will be a different one.

With Haaland's price being so high I also doubt any club can afford to pay in the current financial crisis situation. Indeed, my prediction is
the possibility that Haaland will stay at Dortmund at least for one season. Who knows in the next season the pandemic is over and the finances of big clubs are back to normal again, so Dortmund can sell Haaland at a good price.
When big clubs fall in love with one player, and if they have huge budget from corporations like PSG or Manchester City, they can make surprising big transfers. I agree the financial crisis will make them to think more carefully, think twice but it won't restrict their ability to do big transfers.

Haaland is a young player and he has a long career ahead. He is worth for big transfer.

The latest news regarding Haaland, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said that because Dortmund qualified for the Champions League
next season, Dortmund will try to keep Erling Haaland for at least one more season. Still a puzzle for Haaland's future, we'll see what
the ending looks like.

He is under pressure surely. As you indicated, Gladbach have one last chance to take the 7th place from U. Berlin. For example, even if Gladbach draw with Bremen and Leipzig beat U. Berlin, Gladbach will take the 7th place. But I don't think that Gladbach will want to leave their job to chance here. So, Bremen have a really tough game ahead of them.

It is a bad season for Schalke 04, they experienced many lost matches this season. They have the lowest number of won matches on the table, winning 3 out of 33 matches they have played. Is so bad, that they won't be able to play in the bundesliga next season. Although they won their last match, but it couldn't change their position.

Koln also won't be able to play in the bundesliga next season. I think Vfl Bochum and Holstein Kiel will be promoted to the Bundesliga next season, because they are probably in the 1st and 2nd position on the Bundesliga 2 table.

Bremen situation is very bad, they will face M'Gladbach in the last match and even if their rivals aren't in their best condition, yet they are better. Bremen only motivation in case they get 1 point or more is to try desperately to avoid relegation or play-offs..
Koln will face Schalke, let's exclude the fact that they won against Frankfurt, Bremen should consider Koln as the winner of this game.
For Bielefeld, I doubt Stuttgart will let them get more than 1 point.
Overall, 3 teams for 1 relegation spot and 1 relegation play-offs match.

Maybe that is their intentions but I think that Lewandowski got the desire to surely score over 40 goals to secure that record for himself, and even though it is a draw it is still good than Freiburg winning, but I really know that they can sure beat Freiburg but like you have said they don't want their players to get exhausted before the last game, well I don't think that they really need to win their last games but apparently on gamblers I am staying away in betting when the season is ending and the champion team is taking a chill game.
It is better not to bet on the last match. This is not an important match for Bayern Munich. They are already champions, they have no loss even if they lose this match. Bayern's last match was against Augsburg. I don't think there is anything surprising in Bayern losing this match. My guess is that Bayern will play defensively in this match.

Yup! you are right about it, well they don't really care about gambling at all if you are a supporter of Bayern betting stay away if Bayern is not really motivated enough to beat their opponent, Well in their next match they might play defensively but I think Robert Lewandowski will surely try his best to make a goal for 1 or 2 to surely secure his position on the leagues most scored goals.

Well even though Leipzig doesn't win against Wolfsburg I think Leipzig's position is secure in the next season.

Quote
Regarding Jadon Sancho, whose appearance has decreased significantly compared to the previous season
Sancho is a reminder for Haaland too. Young player need to keep up top level performance for continuous seasons. They must be able to do so in order to reach the levels of Messi and Ronaldo. Haazard, Neymar, Bale have never touched the levels of Messi and Ronaldo because of their unstable performances.

Quote
it seems like Manchester United are no longer interested in buying him, even though the price has decreased considerably. Because according to the Manchester United legend,
Lee Sharpe suggested that Man United buy Jack Grealish, who has performed much better this season than Sancho. And it's possible that
Grealish's price won't be as expensive as Sancho.
Sancho is younger than Grealish. Transfer cost need to be combined with age of player and their potential contributions in future.

The pandemic and financial crisis in football clubs will help Dortmund to have Erling Haaland one or two more seasons. I think Dortmund will let him go in the next summer season. It will help them to avoid risk if Haaland rejects to sign a new contract when his current contract has only 2 seasons left.

One more season in Dortmund might help Haaland grows up more as a key striker. It will help Dortmund to have better deal on the transfer deal. One more year can help nations and football clubs recover financially. It is a win win situation for all.
Yes, winning the cup and qualifying for the Champions League will probably mean they can keep Haaland for at least another year. In addition, no top club will be able or willing to pay 100+ million for Haaland at the moment. However, it looks different with Sancho. I think he will leave Dortmund for England this year. Since his performance this season was not as good as last season, his market value has also dropped. Therefore, Dortmund could sell him at offers of 70-80 Mio +.

that was a bit of a surprise for me. the coach should normally have been dismissed earlier. but before the last match day, it's very strange.
Thomas Schaaf has already coached the boys from Werder Bremen for more than 10 years.
from 1999 to 2013, he was already active as a coach for Werder Bremen and had some very great successes with the team.
now we have to wait and see if he can give the players from bremen confidence again so that they can play the last game or the last 3 games successfully.

The nice fact ist, that Thomas Schaaf was taken 1999 to help Werder Bremen to stay in the first Bundesliga. He was a coach at Werder Bremen with the 2nd team. There were only three playdays left and he made it. That was the beginning of 14 mostly successful years.

Rummenigge says goodbye to Klose as second-in-command for Bayern Munich. As assistant coach he won the German championship 8 times, five German Cups, two Champions League, two Club World Cups and two European Super Cups. He also successfully coached BM second team and trained great champions: from Bastian Schweinsteiger and Philipp Lahm to Thomas Müller and David Alaba, all players who made Bayern history.
Time for new challenges for Miro Klose.
