Being from Germany I hate Bayern München.
Yes they play great Soccer and they have some great players, but being from Germany its all you hear about.
If they play International Teams, Im for Bayern as I am mostly for the german team.
Id just like to get the Table mixed up, so I would have loved for Leverkusen to win or at least tie to stay on top of the table... Damn it Cheesy
Bayern Munich have been Bundesliga champions for the last 8 years. And they take all the talented players in their team. And instruct the players properly so that they can play better. So it is normal for Bayern's players to have more chance to play in the national team. Although I would be happy to see a new champion this season.

@xxjumperxx your sentiments are valid, because most of us are tired too of seeing Bayern win the league title season after season, but I can’t also deny that I love watching their attacking football. Furthermore if Bayern continues in this form then they’ll end up winning the league title this season too, and it’ll make Bundesliga less interesting for fans like me.

I think other Bundesliga teams should have talented players in their teams. Before players, they must have skilled coaches. If you have a skilled and experienced coach, you can also decorate a broken team beautifully. We are really annoyed to see Bayern Munich's win in every season. Ever since I started watching the Bundisliga, I have not seen any team other than Bayern win the title.

Leverkusen was strangely satisfied with a draw, while Bayern is never satisfied with a draw.

While you can dislike Bayern for all the boredom they bring to the Bundesliga, you can just adore them for their mentality. And these late goals are no coincidence - this quote from Seneca sums it up pretty well:

Quote
Luck is when Opportunity meets Preparation plus Action.

could not agree more with this, my favorite team in Germany is Leverkusen, but all the teams, Leverkusen included, have mental issue when they have to win over Bayern, they can do it when they are in the middle of the table, like Leverkusen last year in Munich, but not when they are playing top match for the leader position

several Dortmund easy loses with few goals difference from Bayern are just an example of this mentality

seems that magic is not coming that fast to Gelsenkirchen, (...)

Yes, was a surprise for me seeing Schalke losing to Bielefeld with Stevens. If even Stevens can't help them, then nobody can no more Wink At least the game finished under, albeit with the wrong team winning 1-0 for my additional bet Grin

good for your first bet, bad for Schalke Smiley

Just got home and readed that Stuttgart also lost against Wolfsburg unluckily with 1 Goal.
Maybe i should think about my betting style next time in 2 weeks when the next matches starts again .

@ingiltere
I also think that Schalke is already relegated and that they dont come back to safe them.

I don't think Schalke can save this season. They didn't show any sign of hope, after Arminia Bilefeld loss I'm sure they will get relegated. Their defense is a mess, they saw 36 goals in 13 matches, that's almost 3 goals average. They couldn't finish a game with clean sheet. Attacking line is not productive, they couldn't even score 7 of 13 matches this season. What can Stevens do? They need a miracle to happen at this point.

I don't think is luck tbh. You can't get lucky that often, not even Bayern can Cheesy That Leverkusen game showed very well, why Bayern seems to get lucky more often than others: They wanted it more, attacked relentlessly and put in hard work. All this, while Leverkusen was just looking to defend the draw, which works against other teams, but not against Bayern. So it was one of the few times I was actually happy seeing Bayern score a late winning goal, because Leverkusen's approach was just pathetic, if they want to be a top team. And I have no idea, why Leverkusen parked the bus in the end. It might have been due to Bayern putting on lots of pressure, where you have no choice but to defend deep with all 11 players. In my opinion it's more a mentality problem in the end though. Leverkusen was strangely satisfied with a draw, while Bayern is never satisfied with a draw.
Luck also plays an important role, although the level of luck depends heavily on the degree of dominance of the club, because for sure you will be more lucky if you hit 30 shots on goal than if you have 1 shot Wink It is difficult for any german club to dominate the entire match against Bayern, given the depth of the squad and the budget of the munich club, so you have to put the bus on at times. Still, for the intrigue in the championship, it would be more useful if Leverkusen still survived and played in a draw.

There's not much space for luck when you are on a team game. We could call it a luck if you get a gift of own goal by your opponent or the goalkeeper slips on a straight ball or you get a goal through unwanted deflection from players or a pole. If the team are playing, making the passes, avoiding the opponent and scoring, you can't call it luck. Bayren kept on making the shots to post and once they were even denied by the pole but they made it anyway at the last.

In principle, it has been the case for a very long time that Bayern repeatedly wins matches in the last phases, usually with enormous luck.

Schalke - Bielefeld

Two coaches who are not known to play very attractive football, defense first for both. Bielefeld can probably live with a draw here, while Schalke has to get the 3 points no matter what. But they have 90min time to score one goal and there is no need to come out all guns blazing. It's rare to see an over 2.5 being priced above @2.00 in Bundesliga, but here it is justified and the odds for under are still good imo. So under 2.5 @1.87 for me and CS 1-0 @9.2. Let the Stevens-magic begin Smiley

seems that magic is not coming that fast to Gelsenkirchen, and Schalke will have a very tough job to stay in the league, if that is even possible with this team and this form
I would actually love to see them in the Bundesliga, because I have some Schalke players in Sorare, and their value will go down if they go down, but honestly, does not seem as good bet on them, and that is why I said that Bielefeld is far away, although three points did not seem much

nevertheless, Leverkusen lose is what made my yesterday tickets go down a bit

So Freiburg has won at home against Hertha Berlin with 4 scored Goals !
And in the other match between Wolfsburg and Stuttgart there is no goal at the moment after 27 Minutes played.
My bet here is on Stuttgart and hope they will do it and safe me a bit of my lost bets from yesterday .

wow..what a crazy result. freiburg wins 4:1 against berlin. coach bruno labbadia will probably be sacked soon. bruno simply lacks good results.
but eagl.i bet on freiburg and won. that's good. and i also won my bet for wolfsburg. that was a good tip sunday

I expected a game from Freiburg to be honest..
Not on your radar but they are a team that can upset some other good teams any day. Unfortunately, this performance does not bring itself consistently by Freiburg.

There is a match going on between Wolfsburg and Stuttgart now. It seems that Wolfsburg are playing better in the first half. This not an easy match for both teams. Both of them have a decent performance lately. But I think Wolfsburg can win this.

There was a phrase: football is a game in which 22 players take place, the ball is one and the goals are two, and always wins Germany... now we can replace Germany by Bayern Munich :d

Gary Lineker's legendary quote Cheesy Admittedly, yesterday was another typical Bayern win. In Germany there has been a term for it for a long time: "Bayern Dussel" (means something like Bavarian luck). In principle, it has been the case for a very long time that Bayern repeatedly wins matches in the last phases, usually with enormous luck.

To see Leipzig share point with a mid-bottom table team was very disappointing to say the least. They couldn't even score a single goal despite having a lot of chances and shots that could have seen them seal off the game since the first half.
The result was unexpected for sure. One of the rare cases of a bigger team with more talented players and more time in the ball but not scoring at all.
This result definitely fits into big blunder category. If Leipzig intends to challenge Bundesliga title they must get full 3 points when playing against opponents like this at home. And that happened on the same day when 2 big rivals for the title played against each other. Did not watch the game but from the stats it seems like Leipzig was good in first half and then they failed to do much in second.

Bayern Munich are back to the top of the Bundesliga thanks to a 2 - 1 victory away at Bayer Leverkusen in another dominant and hardworking tie; while liezpig retains the 3rd position after playing a goalless draw at home. The trophy looks likely to end up at the allianz arena come May 2021

~ you guys doing well in your bets today or what?
I was about to take Leverkusen DNB but I switched to the Premier League (Everton) before the match started instead. It turned up to be a wise decision in the end.

As for overall result, I'm a little over the break even line.
