It was a deserved loss.I don't like that as well but that's the ugly truth.
As I said in another post before I expected a tough game. The reasons are that Dortmund has team with 9 new players and 3 of the best players have left the club after last season. Therefore it will take Thomas Tuchel some time to form a new team where mechasnisms are working.
Furthermore Leipzig is no normal promotion team. There is an austrian billionaire, Dietrich Mateschitz, behind that club and pulling the financial strings in the background. For this season he has invested only 50 million. But they are picking their new players very carefully so that it fits best. And they all are younger than 24 years. So this club is working completely different compared to the english teams who are just throwing the millions out of the window for even average players.
Although I don't like such "artificially" pumped up clubs, without any fan culture and any history, I'm sure in 4-5 years they will be able to win the Bundesliga championship and compete in the champions league. There is excellent stuff with high expertise working in the background and the environment there is perfect to make your own future top football players.
