Yet it ended with only one point for them and although I understand that it looks as if Bayer Leverkusen would be able to win all of their remaining games afterwards, it's 90% certain that it is not going to happen. They are still facing several top teams and mental pressure would go up significantly once they understand that it is all up to them.

Same thing for Bayern as their last three games were 0-1 against Bremen, 1-0 against Union Berlin and 2-3 against Augsburg. It could have ended even worse than that for them. In other leagues games like these could be the decision. In the Eredivisie for example. But not in the Bundesliga.

They did not sell Lewandowski, but instead kept him until the contract ran out and then he went to Bayern for free. But Dortmund has to do sustainable business and if they don't see a way out of a situation due to contract duration or clauses that allow the player to go elsewhere for a fixed fee, then they have no other choice but to play by those rules. They were safe not loosing points but then they needed to be a bit above were they are now because that isn't a safe zone at all, any slightest opportunity Munich gets now they will be ahead of Leverkusen, settling for a draw was a weak Result which gave only but little to their race to winning the league this season.

Leverkusen will sure try to be at their best now knowing that they are now very close to been overtaken by Munich and all it takes is just winning a single match and Munich will be ahead of them, it's looking like Munich is already fighting so hard to redeem it's days of dominance in the bundesliga again because currently it takes them to win a match and Leverkusen to either loose or draw a match and they will be up there at the top of the table again ant trying to maintain their dominance this time.

The match results are still sufficient Not too bad because they were still able to draw even though they had to lose two points and that was much better compared to Bayern Munich who lost to a team that was not too strong. I think the next match will be much easier and Leverkusen must really get full points if they don't want to give Bayern Munich the chance to emerge as champions and Leverkusen must play consistently until the end of the season.
