I think no one expected that so many goals would be scored and of course it would be very painful if anyone bet on Hoffenheim winning. We know that the current Hoffenheim is not the Hoffenheim that we can rely on like last season and the results can be seen from this defeat against Bochum.

Now the competition in the standings will be much more interesting, especially for teams at the bottom of the table and with these additional 3 points, they can temporarily escape the grip of the relegation zone. Nothing has been confirmed yet as far as I understand and Rangnick has never been a priority for Bayern Munich as they thought that Nagelsmann would come back or that there is a high chance they could sign Xabi Alonso, but as everyone now knows both options haven't worked out. But Rangnick can be brutal. He is a guy who exactly knows what he wants and he won't let anyone push him around. It's an interesting option though as Bayern needs a strong man with a clue about football and a long-term plan. But remember, Rangnick failed pretty hard when he was the coach for Manchester United.

This is obviously interesting but even so I think it's still too risky for Bayern to appoint Rangnick as a replacement for Tuchel next season.
Rangnick is not a new name for the bundesliga because he was previously also in the bundesliga because several clubs such as VfB, Hanover and even Leipzig have felt coached by Rangnick but indeed this could backfire on Bayern if they only look for the Rangnick option without looking for several other coaches they can bring in.
Rangnick at the end of his coaching did not have a good impression as an interim coach at Manchester United and this can be used as a doubt even though in the end Bayern will remain strong with the quality of their players but still for bigger competitions they will be a little hassle I think.
