Of course this will be even more interesting because if the league competition is not very competitive then the league will look boring and not very interesting, like the previous seasons where Bayern Munich always dominated the league title so that the competition was not so competitive and boring, now Leverkusen is the differentiator and it is hoped that can break the dominance of Bayern Munich and Stuttgart and also break the dominance of big clubs that are always at the top such as Dortmund and Leipzig, thereby making the Bundesliga more competitive.
For a long time Bayern Munich has been the strongest team in the Bundesliga, all proven by the trophies they have collected. It's just that this season they have to admit the situation is different. The threat came and Leverkusen was not anticipated from the start because Bayern Munich felt that no team could beat them. As a result, like it or not, this is what happened in the Bundesliga which made Bayern Munich unprepared to face big aggression from Leverkusen.
In my opinion this is a major blow to Bayern Munich officials who were too relaxed and did not increase the depth of the squad and the selection of coaches. Tuchel clearly failed to prove himself worthy of replacing the previous coach. Julian Nagelsmann is now satisfied with being dumped by Bayern Munich but after his departure the club experienced serious problems. Meanwhile Leverkusen with the situation that Bayern Munich has is taking advantage of this to continue to develop little by little, showing results without losing during the 23 matches they have played, showing how serious they are about wanting to teach Bayern Munich a lesson.
They overestimated their competitiveness, and it cost them. The Tuchel situation stings more. I've always recommended being proactive, especially when things arent going well, over waiting for things to improve. Changing Tuchel may be wise. Teams change coaches and suddenly get back in the game. Bayern may regret sticking with Tuchel till the end of the season.

Additionally, squad depth is an issue. How did officials miss this? Leverkusen has been quietly improving, while Bayern is scrambling. Lingering on your laurels is typical. Leverkusen's unblemished record shows their tenacity. They capitalized on Bayern's mistake, which is a wake-up call. Bayern must act quickly. Its about having a team that can adapt and fight every match, not only star players.

Performance of Dortmund has dropped again. In the last match, they only got one point where everyone expected 3 points from them. And now in this match against Hoffenheim, they have actually managed to lose somehow, lol. At this point, I don't think it is good to expect anything from Dortmund. The defense was horrible from them. I hope Dortmund realizes that they will not stay in the top four if they do not win consistently from now. Because the difference in points between them and Leipzig which is in the fifth position is only one.

By the way who else thinks that Reus could have achieved a lot more in his career if he went to some other better club instead of Dortmund?
Dortmund is now increasingly threatened by Leipzig in maintaining its top four position in the standings, where Leipzig is only one point away from the Champions League spot. I think Dortmund will be displaced from its current position again, and Leipzig will move back up to 4th place, because in the next five matches Dortmund will face relatively difficult opponents. Meanwhile, Leipzig will face relatively easy opponents.

Dortmund next five matches: Union Berlin, Bremen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayern, Stuttgarat

Leipzig next five matches: Bochum, Darmstadt, Koln, Mainz, Freiburg

We can see that Leipzig has a big chance to overtake Dortmund in the future, despite the surprises that we often see. In my opinion, Dortmund will lose points when facing Bayern, and Leizig can take over 4th place provided they are consistent from tomorrow. Reus looks like he will be fasting for a title again this season, but I recognize his loyalty to Dortmund.

Both Leverkusen and Bayern could end up with a win this week, Bayern is far better than Freiburg and while I do agree that they shouldn't have failed to win against Bochum, they did and there is nothing to get it back now so they will have to look at what they can do from here on out which starts with a great win over Freiburg. They beat Leipzig just recently and that was a very close game as well, it was really a shocking result.

We need to end up with a clear win, like not barely a win but like 3-0 type of game. Leverkusen on the other hand plays Koln, a team that is already low and unless a shocking thing happens, we should be seeing them get the win. There is a reason why Leverkusen is at the top, and that is why I believe they will do fine.
Defeat against Bochum was an embarrassing result in the last few matches, we all know that Bayern Munich was the superior team on paper in that match but everything did not guarantee victory and in the end they lost.
No one would have thought from the start that Bayern Munich could lose to Bochum but big surprise actually happened and changed everyone thinking.
Against Leipzig they could have performed better even though they only won by narrow score, but this was victory that Bayern Munich deserved.
Next, they met Freiburg away, but Freiburg is weak team that occupies 9th position in the standings with 10 defeats, even in the last few Bundesliga matches, Freiburg also couldn't perform well, only suffering defeats and draws.
I sure that Bayern Munich can definitely win easily as long as there are no mistakes made by the players and there are no unexpected things like the surprises that happened previously in the match against Bochum.

It just that in the future, Bayern Munich chances and confidence in winning the title have dwindled and the many hopes of Bayern Munich fans will be in vain, they are really in difficult condition to catch up.
Moreover, Bayern Munich must focus on the UCL match, which means Tuchel will prioritize the UCL competition over the Bundesliga.

In the Bundesliga competition there are 3 bottom team that really cannot develop well, such as Koln, Mainz 05 and also Darmstadt.
These three team are only stepping stones for the top teams to achieve victory and earn full points as an effort to improve and secure their position in the standings.
They are in dangerous position because they are guaranteed to be relegated next season down to the Bundesliga 2 competition, moreover they also do not have adequate support to develop in Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich travel to Freiburg to keep their faint title hopes alive. Bayern won in the dying moments against Leipzig last week and although they don't inspire confidence as a team, they still have an impact. This year will be the year their hegemony is broken. Freiburg have a chance to qualify for the European Cup next year and every game is more valuable for them now. Freiburg will try to beat their opponent at home for the first time in nine years and this match is a matter of prestige for them. With Bayern's defense still not inspiring confidence and Freiburg fighting well, this match is likely to be a high scoring affair.

So far, Bayern Munich has a good record against Freiburg and of course that can be a plus for us to bet on Bayern Munich victory in the match, Indeed, currently Munich performance is not good, but the victory they got against Leipzig will certainly increase the confidence of the Bayern Munich players is getting bigger when facing Freiburg, which has a performance that is no bad than Munich at the moment.

In the match against Augsburg last week, of course we could see how the mentality of the Freiburg defensive players was down when their were continuously attacked, of course this cannot be a good asset when having to face a team that has better aggressiveness like Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich currently needs points in each of their remaining matches and of course Munich no longer wants to get negative results which makes their position further away from Leverkusen and also the threat of getting closer to Stugart who are below him to take second place, my prediction is that the match will be tough throughout the match, both Freiburg and Munich will definitely use all their strength to win the match, but of course in terms of quality, Bayern Munich will be able to beat Freiburg with a score of 2-0.

I think the last thing Bayern Munich wants to see is eating against a team like Augsburg. Currently, the situation in Bayern Munich is not good at all and while we all knew Bayern Munich as a team winning the Bundesliga title every season during the last years, but after Bayern Munich lost the game against Leverkusen during this season there was not a good atmosphere in this team and they are losing their good form.
But in the game between Bayern Munich against Augsburg, they have a good chance to beat this team and have better motivation for the rest of the season.

Leverkusen haven't still lost after leaving 23 games. Do you think there will be any team in the league to beat them before the season ends?
For now, after seeing the good performance shown by Bayer Leverkusen, I don't think that in the few remaining matches this season there will be one team that can beat Bayer Leverkusen. This does sound a little strange, but the fact that many people have witnessed it in 23 matches should be proof that Bayer Leverkusen is indeed difficult for any team in the Bundesliga to beat.

Looking from the current conditions it seems quite difficult to see Leverkusen lose but in my opinion Leverkusen losing is still very possible to happen even when the situation is unexpected.
Until now, Leverkusen's condition with Xabi's unbreakable record is very good if they don't get defeated and continue to add to their positive results record.
But with some of the competitions that Leverkusen are doing at the moment it is still possible for them to lose especially with the many competitions they are involved in, the more the strength of the players is also shortened and allows for rotations that do not go too well.

On the other hand, there are currently 12 matches left before the end of the season and if we look at the existing conditions there are actually still some pretty strong clubs that Leverkusen have to face in the rest of their matches such as Dortmund, VFB or some surprise clubs such as Union, Freiburg or Frankfurt even though they are not doing well this season but still it can interfere with them.

The fact that Bayern is no longer the same was obvious already last season, which Dortmund should have won, but it refused in the last round. Despite the change of coach and the acquisition of Kane, the results do not show that anything has changed, but in fairness it should be noted that Bayer is showing something incredible. If the competitors were at the level of last year, then perhaps the current level of Bayern would be enough to be a leader.

Freiburg have just one win in their last five matches in all competitions with two draws and two lost; Bayern Munich also has two wins and three losses, This overall shows how bad Bayern Munich was in their previous matches.

Going through Bayern Munich Vs Freiburg’s head to head in their last five matches, Bayern won four while Freiburg won just one match, this is clearly telling us that Bayern Munich irrespective of their good form will defeat Freiburg especially now that Bayern is struggling to see if they can meet up with Leverkusen in the title challenge.

Being 8 points different from Bayer Leverkusen puts Bayern Munich under great pressure to win their next match, because if they fail to take advantage of it, they will be further away with 11 or 9 points.

I agree with you that in their next match we'll see a lot of goals, not only from Bayern Munich's side but from Freiburg's side too, the odds for GG are also smaller (@1.64), an indication that Freiburg will also score goals in this match.

Honestly I think Leverkusen will continue on their unbeaten series until announcing their championship mathematically.  Smiley  There are some tough games like Dortmund and Stuttgart as well near the end of the season. At worst we might see Leverkusen losing one of those games but even then they would probably be in a comfortable situation to make it to the league title. Hold on a little more Xabi Alonso, you can make it!  Grin

More games to go and it could still be possible they lose the league Competition when they become relaxed about this Competition. If they know whatever they want they'd be up and going and seriously with whatever game they come out to play. This weekend could be tough as I'm not so comfortable with away games. They did win that game though with a good scoreline.

Consistency with the unbreakable and unbeaten run I cannot predict because they'd be hot facing Europa League Competitions soon enough, they have to be ready.
We could also see the name Victor Boniface back from Injury soon, it feels like sijce he got Injured they've slacked a little while attacking.

I'd love to see Xabi Alonso winning the German Bundesliga League Competition at the end of the season, they do deserve it because they've worked so hard to get here.

This week there doesn't seem to be any big matches being presented, but there is one match that stole my attention. There, Union Berlin will meet Dortmund and of course everyone still can't forget Dortmund's previous defeat against Hoffenheim. Not a few bettors were hurt by Dortmund's defeat and is it possible that they will be able to win again this week?

It is still a question mark because both Union Berlin and Dortmund have the same statistical record in the last 5 matches with 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss so these two teams are quite interesting even though their positions in the standings are very different. The problem is that with this unstable performance, Dortmund has to play an away match at Union Berlin and of course there are quite a few who doubt that Dortmund will suffer less than optimal results again.

Regarding betting, I think the match could end in a draw or even a narrow win for Dortmund, but looking at the odds of Dortmund winning would certainly be very tempting for anyone and if you bet on a double chance you will only get odds @1.31 which is very small. It seems like everyone will be careful in betting on this later and of course a detrimental surprise is really undesirable.

I predicted that Dortmund should be favored in this match and should get odds under @2 but surprisingly the bookie gave odds @2.10, meaning there was something that made the bookie also a little doubtful.
After I searched and analyzed it turned out that Dortmund mainstay goalkeeper was injured and seemed to be missing the match against Union Berlin and Dortmund had to replace Gregor Kobel with Alexander Meyer while Mayer did not have a good performance and we could see that from the previous match against Hoffenheim.
Dortmund's striker is also injured and is unlikely to attend the match, so the bookmakers are giving very high odds on all of this.

It seems too risky to bet on one club winning while Union Berlin could pull off a surprise draw and I think it's better to bet on both clubs scoring at odds @1.61

I think this is a valuable lesson for Bayern Munich. They slept on their victory when, in this tournament, there were almost no competitors to compete with them. Xabi Alonso came to the tournament and slapped them in the face. Bayern Munich's management should be severe in choosing a coach. I am of the opinion that Replacing Mr. Tuchel now with another coach is not a wrong decision. Many teams that change coaches mid-season have immediately achieved success. It seems that the only obstacle preventing Bayern Munich from replacing the coach is the inability to find the right person. Bayern Munich's leadership does not want to rush the appointment to suffer more painful stories. Is keeping coach Tuchel until the end of the season a wrong decision for Bayern Munich?

It would be extraordinary for Bayer Leverkusen if they could become a team that has never lost this season by winning the Bundesliga title this season. Because Xabi Alonso is now seen by many people as a coach who is able to bring a team to become champions by never losing in one season (if they are truly undefeated until the end of the season).

Darmstadt FC needs 12 points to get out of the relegation zone. That is with the record that several teams that collected 25 points lost and Darmstadt FC won all the matches. I thought it was impossible. That's because Darmstadt FC is the team with the most goals conceded in the Bundesliga this season. They were only able to win 2 matches. They no longer have any hope of playing in the Bundesliga next season. I think they have to prepare to drop to the second tier of the German league next season.
I also don’t think there’s time for them to get out of that relegation zone, they should just manage not to concede more goals in order for them not to have one of the worst records in the history of Bundesliga. This season was not a good one for them and I think they would go back to play in the Bundesliga 2 league after their qualification to the Bundesliga last year after they finished 2nd in that league. Maybe when they come back again for the second time, they would have a better grasp and understanding of the league and be able to perform better than they did this season.
Along with improved performance and things which happened in last 23 rounds most chances we will have Darmstadt will be surely going to relegate and with them Mainz and FC Koln are also in deep trouble because their performance is below average which is never been acceptable while you are having in any top league with Mainz and Darmstadt both are needed four matches winning streak for the avoiding relegation with others also lost points which are surely looking not possible in case of FC Koln which is improving, but their schedule is never been easy to make things up to mark hopefully they could be also down.

Bochum and Union Berlin done good improvement on good time which are not allowing them to stay into safe zone, even still things can go on wrong way but most chances we will have them into better way with these can stay in better position.

Bayern Munich's strength has weakened and it seems like there are internal problems which ultimately prevent the players from contributing at full strength. Bayern Leverkusen knows this and makes good use of it to always get a win in every match and provide quite a distance between Bayern Munich and Bayer's points. Leverkusen. Lazio still doesn't seem able to beat the strength of Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich certainly understands the consequences of losing to Lazio.
Sure, they've weakened a little bit, but I think there's more to it than that, which is that their competitors are starting to show some tremendous improvement. We all know the form of Leverkusen this season, it makes them (Bayern Munich) seem to be declining drastically, especially after their loss to Leverkusen, but I don't think they are declining that drastically.
Now it becomes a dilemma for Bayern Munich, whether they will keep Thomas Tuchel or they will immediately fire him and find a new coach to replace his position in the coming season. There are also rumors that they are interested in bringing in Xabi who is their competitor this season. But that's just a rumor.

Tuchel already realises that he will be replaced by another coach... But rumours of a new coach are still rumours... In any case, Bayern are in big trouble in the Bundesliga and Champions League right now... If urgent measures are not taken and a new coach is not found, Bayern will not be able to compete for the Champions League next season...
Yes, even though it's just a rumor, Tuchel's position certainly won't be safe if Munich is without a title this season, because they still have a chance to win the UCL title this season by beating Lazio in the second leg to be able to enter the next round and compete with other possible clubs. they have to face and win, even though it is tough, it will be Tuchel's biggest challenge to revive Munich's confidence that they can win the title this season even though the journey is quite difficult.

Competing in the domestic league will certainly be difficult with Leverkusen because they have not experienced any defeats or mistakes so far so it is difficult to displace Leverkusen at the top of the standings and Munich seems to have no hope of that as long as Xabi Alonso continues to convince the confidence of his team to continue to be consistent on track. victory in order to break Munich's dominance this season by winning the Bundesliga title this season. Munich only has one chance in the UCL and Tuchel must not waste it before he is actually fired.  Grin

Bayer Leverkusen have relatively easy games until March where they will face Freiburg which aren't in their top performance by the way. April will have a harder match against Borussia Dortmund. If the game against Dortmund was played right now then we could say that Leverkusen are way favourite. In April, things might change but I still find Bayer Leverkusen way better and hopefully they will not lose any game and overthrow Bayern Munich from Bundesliga title.
