Wow! That is a great achievement for Bayern Leverkusen. It will be difficult for Bayern Munich to catch up with Bayern Leverkusen at the Bundesliga table because Bayern Leverkusen doesn't look like a team that will drop points anytime soon. Leipzig might even do Leverkusen good by defeating Bayern Munich to make their work easier.

Werder Bremen vs Darmstadt 98
With back to back wins, Werder Bremen have reached an ambitious stage in the European Cup race. Bremen beat Bayern Munich away, but the home defeat to Heidenheim showed how fragile they are in a sense. I expect Bremen to be physically weak again in this match due to the high number of absentees and players on the card limit. Darmstadt, who are at the bottom of the league, look more resilient and aggressive lately despite their defensive problems. With the addition of Polter they can also improve in offense. Coach Lieberknecht is suspended. I think they can score at least one goal against Bremen. Goals against are a good betting option.

The deserving teams knows what's at stake, they worked so hard to accomplished their essential targets this season, pretty entertaining. It's understandable if a huge amount of confidence is lost in this team as they're now less predictable to come out victorious in games. Barely 10-12 weeks left this season and their drawbacks is likely going to cost them to relinquish both the UCL and the Bundesliga trophies. This season is certainly not the best so far for them. Maybe it's just their turn to suffer setbacks though. But is it possible that a switch in managerial body will make the right difference? There are options around for them to select from and let's be hopeful that this condition won't hold up unto the next season too as it'll be perilous. There's still a gleam of hope and chance in the German side though but the odds are very very slim and let's just pray that they end up being lucky because truthfully their opponents ahead are very much unfriendly.

Laverkusen is currently the best and strongest team in the German Bundesliga, they are currently at the top of the points table as one of the most interesting teams this season. Moreover, Laverkusen is a strong team that no team has been able to beat so far, they are still undefeated and at the top of the points table. Laverkusen played 23 matches successfully won all the matches however they might be champions and win the title this season. There is currently no team to compete with them in the Bundesliga, as Bayan Munich is still 11 points behind the only team that can compete in the points table.

Xabi Alonso was hell excited for the goal scored by Xhaka!

Alonso is actually cooking, his coaching pattern is very good and well recommendable for other teams because he is such an amazing and talented young manager that is here to change some narratives in football management system, he can do more of this from all indications.

He is one of the nominees to replace Klopp at Anfield and he will be a perfect replacement that can do more than what Klopp did because he started well and he is about to keep records in the Bundesliga.

The match is over and Leverkunsen managed to score a tough win today against Mainz. Currently Leverkusen has a difference of 11 points over Bayern Munich and this might make Leverkusen more comfortable at the top of the standings. Munich is suffering and seems to be failing in the Bundesliga this season, some say this is Kane's curse.

Bayern Munich will host Leipzig for the next match. Leipzig are in good form ahead of this important match, they are also very motivated to win after having 3 matches without defeat. This might be a tough test for Bayern Munich after suffering 2 consecutive defeats in the Bundesliga, but the probability of their victory is still very high.

I loved Xhaka's goal. I heard the commentator said it was his first ever Bundesliga goal and he scored and celebrated with style. For the second goal, the goalie was becoming too confident in his capabilities and that confidence failed him. I know he got very crucial saves for his team in both halves especially the first but he took his head out of the game for a bit and he was caught off guard by that Andrich strike.

Overall, it was a good game and I applaud Mainz for their strong performance today. Even with the red card, they still put the pressure on Leverkusen.

Now I can't wait for Xabi Alonso to take over from Klopp. It would be interesting to see what beasts he would make out of players like Trent, Jones, Nunez and even Gakpo.
