Yet, Dopecoin has some exciting news on the way. I'd say they're a serious contender for the MJ industry. One of their recent tweets:

Here it comes.
If an altcoin, regardless of being a clone, can gain widespread acceptance amongst merchants, then people are going to naturally become curious as to how they can exchange fiat for Dope:)
Consider many Colorado headshops are doing upwards of $20k a day in sales right now, so just picture the potential trade volume.

another Scypt clone coin that came out waaay before Doge coin did was featured on the Wall Street Journal (Franko / FRK a more rare version of LTC)

Difference with that compared to Doge coin is the FRK dev(s) team etc took it very seriously and have worked hard at making a good clone lol
not the only time a crypto coin has been talked about across the web.. it happens a lot noobs, don't get too excited.

and if anyone might ask well what should i mine or invest in i will suggest a random example.. Vertcoin.
a sincere honest effort was made i think on that coin to address some very large issues the Altcoins face (asic miners)
so look for coins that are different and not just scrypt clones..

I think this is the most common question that comes around and the answer I usually give is who is the most business and professional like. Which team that is. I think we/DopeCoin stands out pretty far ahead of the rest as this should be treated as a business as you expect it to be. We have a solid infrastructure being established, vendors being contacted for our soon-to-be launched shopping cart API along with already getting our Android Mobile wallet put on the wild. For being a 1 month old coin we have made some pretty big strides already. Sometime in the next month or two there will be a coin mixture built right into DopeCoin so you can feel extra safe with your transactions. We just don't talk about it , we do it.
