I hope you take their accounts as collateral when you do give a private loan. I had a problem with this kind of loans back then.
bl4nkcode gave a private loan to hackahammer via PM and since no one else knew about the loan nor did the account have a neutral trust rating I believed that the user did not have any other loan. In the end, hackahammer scammed bl4nkcode and me, 0.005BTC each. Also, I lost the collateral as there was a scam accusation and the account was red painted, hence valueless. It is not wise to give private loans. You will not be able to prove that you gave someone a loan unless you show your private messages. Also increasing double loans in the community.
