That is a impressive amount of users so far I was to lazy to get started with this app. It's on mine to do list for a long time now. I don't see the point why I should use this and not whatsapp what all the other people use.

It has gone up a little, but it's parent, counterparty, is way down versus btc. I guess that's probably more responsible for price drop than anything else, since I think you can swap gems for xcp (and btc for xcp) on the dex.

ehh price hasnt halved of network reaching 50k users, it went up some. The real value is in the attention economy and for that you need to expand userbase, nontheless gemz is one of fastest growing crypto in userbase next to bitcoin.

Android has more competition, but once an app gains traction things can go fast which seems the case with the iOS version.

What was GEMZ price on ICO?
5.8k sat, although some projects focus purely on pumping up their price without really being interesting and some projects like GetGems focus on actuall real world adoption and fundamentals. The latter will get the most benefit eventually, coinmarketcap and the whole valuing of alts doesn't make much sense here. There are literally dead coins with no userbase and no activity ranked higher. That's why it's better to escape the illogical biased and pretty careless environment we are in and adopt more to the outside world when introducing Crypto technology which is i think what GG is doing.

i personally use Gemz app daily, alone because of the faucet. i guess the increase downloads come because people realize that it is also a good Bitcoin wallet, not only a Gemz wallet. You could pay easily with Bitcoin using the wallet.
