Why are you obsessed with gambling? Bitcoin has a lot of legit usages.
You have a lot to learn to use bitcoin safely, like choosing wallet, buying and spending btc etc.
Just google it and you will find a lot of infomation.

Why do you think I'm obsessed with it? This is the gambling forum ya know. Like what usages? please explain, Im not sure what I would be looking for on google.

well, he is trying to suggest to you dont keep ur bitcoin on an exchange platform, there has been a case where the exchange lose over 100,000 of bitcoins and those customers till now cant get back their bitcoins. so imagine u have over 10 or even 100 of bitcoins in a bank and this bank closed down due to some fault and u cant get ur $ back. even government also cant do anything.

so suggestion to u is that keep it in an offline wallet in your harddisk and do all the coding and double coding etc so even if ur comp got hack, they still cant access to ur wallets cause there is like 3 to 4 layers of password.

You need to make your way around. This field is full of scammer so knowledge upto the mark and analyzing stuff before blindly trusting in it is much needed before making a wallet or betting.I use directbet and blockchain for everything.Recently blockchain has multiple issues but nothing to worry the're just getting better.

If you are interesting to get suggestion about sports betting sites than i will suggest you directbet.eu without any doubt it is legit and trusted sportsbook and you don't need to have any account for place bets on sports event totally anonymous and secure.
ok I might check it out since thats the second suggestion for that site. Also it wouldnt hurt to use 2 sites to bet with just to store my coins in different sites. Feel like that might be the safer option.  thanks.
IF you want to bet more on sport event, you need to know that there are couple interesting bitcoin Sports book available.

1.  Anonibet
2.  Nitrogensports
3.  Cloudbet
4.  Betcoinsports
5. Directbet

But here you have good idea of some of them:

The legal question depend where you live. For example, in italy, all gambling site without an italian license, is illegal and the domain is obscurated, already if the site have european license, the italian player can't bet (but is only for tax question).
virvox for now is the only method for paypal (or you can see any members of forum sell bitcoin for paypal, but is very hard)

1. Bitcoin gambling is not more or less 'legal' than any FIAT based service. You can gamble as much as you want. As long as it is in agreement with your local law.
2. If you chose right Bitcoin Casino there is no very little change that they will scam you or run away with your money. You see, it is more profitable to be reputable casino and earn in a long term.
3. I never heard of virvox.com - but if you keep your fund in online storage for long there is always a risk. Avoid doing that with large sum of money.
Ok thanks, I never keep a real lot in there as I always try and transfer it back into my paypal and vice versa.

Most Bitcoin online gambling sites do not have a license and can be illegal depending on your jurisdiction. Many sites have already blocked US players. Trusting gambling sites isn't easy, it does take some time for them to build their reputation. Virwox is pretty legit but they have high fees since you have to convert it to SLL then to USD. Try going to the currency exchange section here and deal with trusted people. Always use escrow and don't go for newbies or people with negative trust.

Don't trust any site to hold the bitcoin for you except you are controlling the bitcoin yourself. There are some legit websites for gamble, which are on chain  betting, try this one http://luckyb.it/. You are sending the betting amount of btc to the specific address and instantly you will get back your wagers in your wallet.

I personally use directbet.eu to do all my sports betting and they dont hold anything except any of my current bets. They take the bet and once the event you bet on is over they return your money very soon after.

As far as virwox goes theyre safe but the fee is ridiculous. You should look around n try to find an alternative method to selling your btc.

Hey guys this is my first post here. Nice little forum here. I got into bit coins a couple years ago in order to buy stuff online.
Anyways I use to bet sports with a couple guys on Facebook a while back, but i closed my account so it seems like bitcoin betting is the next best thing.
I just have a couple questions, how is it legal? Its because the currency is in bit coins instead of $ right?
Also do you guys trust these sites with your bit coins? Cant they just take them away, if you have a lot and its technically illegal so theres nothing you can do about? In the past i was betting on a site and it suddenly just shut down, i forgot what it was called and also have a bad experience with nitrogensports.eu i believe where i just did not get my coins back.

Anyways just interested in peoples general opinion if they think these sites are 100% safe and something I can trust with large amounts of coins! If so Im looking forward to betting again! completely forgot about these bit coins sites!
Also what site do you guys use to withdrawal/store your bit coins? I use virwox.com and then from there deposit them back into my paypal account..  is this a trusted site to use? Or a good method? And currently using cloud bet.
