I really believe besides gambling, porn industry is one that might let bitcoin grow and handle the privacy requests and needs that some people were searching, now bitcoin does provide those for them soo they dont have to hide anymore their interest and wishes.
There are people that are really allotting a decent amount of money for porn. They might not be that exposed in public because you don't know that they're that kind of person unless they show what they are to you, but this type of people really does exist. There are people that are having family problems because of this. The scenario is mostly someone in the family isn't aware of another family member's porn addiction and then when they checked their credit card record, it's all payments from a porn site.
The introduction of bitcoin to porn sites would solve that particular problem. The family member that has porn addiction will just have to buy bitcoins using their card so when somebody else checks it, what's written is that he bought bitcoins using the money. And they wouldn't even know what did you do to your bitcoins.

Though the pornographic industry may increase the price of bitcoin but its just bad news. Children may just access this sites using bitcoin and it is a disadvantage for bitcoin and a hassle for parents. Even though I am hoping but I am afraid that I cannot stop the porn industry to use bitcoin. The only thing I can do today is to guard and always check what are the sites my kid is watching.
What's the difference of using bitcoins for accessing porn sites and accessing porn without bitcoins? The kid knows the porn site. So he's probably browsing porn sites even without having to pay with bitcoins.
