Online bookies odds had it GGG = 1.01, Rolls = 15.00, that's insane IMO, almost no profit if you bet on GGG.
It should be interesting if underdog bettors won, just like Anthony Joshua's case (11-1). However, I think GGG experienced enough to avoid stupid mistakes as Joshua did.
I have a theory. This month is not a black boxer month Grin

15-1 is much worse than 11-1 though.
I think here is a different situation because bookies usually offer odd 1.01 because they can't simply put odd 1.00 for the favorite. Honestly I've seen 2 matches in the recent years where had odds 1.01 to win and they still lost. One was at tennis when Djocovick played and the other was at snooker where O'ssulivan played. But here we are talking about boxing and the players only have a few fights a year compared to tennis or snooker where they play dozens and they can afford to lose some of them. In boxing a single match can ruin your career or make you rise to whole new levels.

But I'm sure that there would be some people who would bet and risk for those odds(as usual).

Even the blind would able to tell on whose gonna win so its no surprise for those bookie odds.
Actually laugh on that no black boxer for this month.  Grin

This match is a simple business move because GGG and Tom Loeffler have mentioned this fight is important for DAZN because they want to get more subscribers from Canada.

There is no way you can compare this fight with Joshua vs Ruiz fight. We are talking about a veteran in this sport ,that's still one of the best in the world against a guy that was fighting not that long ago against guys with losing record. Steve Rolls never fight against any notable name in his career and this will be the first time he's going to play a 12 round match.

I think Rolls has no chance vs GG. Odds are non usable, you cant bet on that match.

But we saw Ruiz vs Joshua, how it ended  Huh

Gennady Golovkin vs Steve Rolls
Date: June 8, 2019
Venue: Madison Square Garden

GGG will be back again on the square ring this weekend against Steve Rolls which is not popular to me (i thought it's Mayweather at first glance of the photo  Grin).

Undefeated in 19 outings, do you think he got a chance to upset the return of GGG just like what Ruiz did to Joshua?
