Usually I'm just interested in the technical side of bitcoin, so sorry if my question is a bit stupid  Roll Eyes

Basically this is an opportunity to invest 1 btc for 1 MHash/s mining in your sexy setup. With current difficulty etc that would pay off in roughly one year. Perhaps not a bad deal. There sure are some risks involved.

The alternative is to invest in mining hardware yourself. The price per MHash is lower, even when baying FPGA miner. Granted that you dont have to run the thing, supply power etc. But is this deal 1 btc per MHash really something people would throw themself at? What am I missing? Smiley

It's kind of hard to get any work done today. I keep refreshing this page -> https://glbse.com/asset/view/GIGAMINING

Looks like all bid orders a 1 BTC will not be filled come tomorrow morning because of higher bids. Your best bet is to make sure you have tightened up your bids for the last 500 before 9am tomorrow.

Good luck.

Will there be a limit in shares one can buy or will the richest man win ?

500 remain for the IPO tomorrow. Nefario has confirmed that the highest bid will be the first to be filled.

If you haven't placed your order on http://glbse.com yet, get over there and get start now.

Can't wait for 4/10 Tongue

Looks like there are only 80 bonds left before the price starts rising.

https://glbse.com/asset/view/GIGAMINING

Thank you again to everyone who's invested thus far. I'm still in shock.

I don't even get how to buy one Sad
Buy me one and i'll give you 1 BTC. Smiley
Just go sign up for an account at https://glbse.com and deposit some BTC there so it is ready to spend, then place your order.  It is very easy to do.

Thank you for the quick reply. Will GLBSE pull the trigger or will it be you? I'm not sure how this works honestly. As you know I have some interest:)

Thanks.

I will be pulling the trigger. I set glbse.com to release the bonds to me at 6am (i'm an early riser) so that I would have time to get pre IPO shares to the proper owners.

Also, thanks for your interest.  Cheesy

Hope to catch some. How will this work ? Highest bids first ? Looks like there are around 120 bids atm on GLBSE.

Giga, can you shed some light on this? I know there was talk update updating the functionality of GLBSE, but I'm not sure if it has been implemented. The previous behaviour would have bids fills starting at the highest price, and then for bids at the same price starting with oldest first.

This actually was an issue a while back, where orders were filled at the best price, but when the price was the same (for multiple orders) it was not sorted by age. This was fixed a few days ago.

So, best price first, when prices are the same, then the oldest order gets filled first.

Nefario.

I will consult Nefario today regarding this issue.

Looks like there are orders for around 370 out of the 500 remaining bonds. If you are looking to get in and haven't placed a bid yet, there is a bit of room left.
