i think food would be good idea just you wouldn't be able to ship it to other countries which is problem, but otherwise food is decent thing to sell for bitcoins now

As I stated in a similar thread, you may want to shy away from digital goods. You may want to look at a product you can make, a product you can buy in bulk cheaply and resell, or possibly even offering a service. But as far as digital goods go, unless you are creating them (say photographs, or music) you won't be able to mark it up enough for it to be profitable.

Also, think about things that all bitcoin users (your target) use. We all obviously have internet devices

What is your online shop ? Local or international ? If you are in Local only then list down all the trending items you know in your place nearby. Just roam in your nearby environment, look at the markets, ask some people, or interview. But if you pick International, always look the good and worse of it. The good is you can sell at different countries. But you have to set warehouses or something like that in some countries because shipping is at must. But if you are selling game cards, then that would be easy. Also beware of your competitors. The higher the place, the more competitors.

There are website/community which act as intermediater b/w btc and other shop giftcard.
If you are planing to open a new different concept shop then
It depend whether it is local or worldwide.
If you are interested in local shop then pm me.i can help.
And for worldwide,it is really difficult to globalise it.

It is great that you decided to start an online shop which accepts bitcoins as payment. Especially now that the demand in bitcoin is high and many are using it now. I suggest that if you are going to start a shop like buy and sell or etc. You should start locally first, then when your shop is known locally, then it os the great time to start internationally.

You are right with that. It is really complicated on how you are going to make a business keep on rolling. You must have different sets of idea so that if ever your plan is going to fail.
Then you must have set another thing that can boost people's interest to your business.

I think videogames would take off well as the people buying using bitcoins are usually extremely tech savvy and so they would probably be more this way orientated anyway
I also think that food would be a hit as it is hugely consumed and would bring in quite a bit of profit

Well i dont know if you do know,but Steam has accepted bitcoin payments.
I dont know yet if we can buy games for bitcoin already,but this will happen in no time probably.

all idea that you have are good, as video games are super popular now, so i am sure that if you will sell these games for small price, you will find lots of buyers

and of course watches are good idea too, if they will have good quality of course, as i they will be very bad, nobody will buy from you, i am sure for this

I will suggest accessories or gadget something like that with cheap price of course good luck to your plan business mate.

Its best to sell cloths online i think as in the trend online clothing stores are getting more famous this days but e-accessories or gadgets can be a better options too Cheesy

It's a good idea what you're doing here, so i'll help, by saying that you want an extremely small amount of specialised items, and mainly mass usable items like food or deodorant and the like
This means that a large amount of people can buy from you, whereas what's the chance of someone both using bitcoins and wanting a limited edition train collector set or rare vase or the like Wink

, keep it simple, basic, and widely wanted

If you are launching an international online shop, Steam games or any digital goods is good for you, Cause you dont need shipping fee or tax for your items to sell online.

You can sell lincensed software and games and other things which involve no physical transfer fee. and payment will be in bitcoins. This will be the best option for your online shop and the buyers will be from worldwide.
