Actually bitshares sales itself !.... without ANY marketing efforts !!! (except you thing that bitshares has grow to place 4 marketcap wise because of a couple of funboys)
Now I am confident that bitshares market cap will sky-rocket to first place since it's blockchain has managed to hire some great marketing/dev guys lately !!! Yes you have read it right !
BitShares DPOS blockchain hired marketers & devs !!! First time in crypto history a blockchain will pay devs & marketers automatically without the need a human to decide how much and which one to pay !!!
conclusion:
bitshares+marketing+new talented DEVs (all of them controlled from a blockchain and not humans)

.To answer the OP's question, there is no sales pitch to investing in a PoS coin because there are too many overall drawbacks as well as drawbacks when comparing it to PoW

Because pos coin is more secure than POW coin.When all the bitcoin are mined, there will have no difference between bitcoin and pos coin as nxt.

Reddcoin : improved pos to deal with the issue of inactive nodes, only coin with an all in one browser wallet (setting it up is like a min long and its an extemtdtion with chrome,).
