0.5 is not very much

Approx. 500,000 total Premine coins will ever exist. Extremely rare.

If the coin had 21,000,000 total supply that would be approx 21 coins. If the coin had 100 billion total supply it would be approx 10,000.

0.5 is pretty generous.

I don't agree.

Then don't participate.  Smiley

Imagine if you got 0.5 Unobtanium during the early days. Your loss is someone else's inevitable gain. Those in the know will know where Premine is headed.
Am I missing something? 0.5 UNO is ~$4.

Just so everyone appreciates the community spirit that Premine has, MyFarm bought those coins at current market prices.

You won't find many coins where the community is investing so much money in the coin's future. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. You have nothing to lose by obtaining it, and possibly a good deal to gain if it continues going the way it is.

Our 400 PMC giveaway is live at Poloniex.  Premine (PMC) Coin is a very unique coin in that it was 100% premined and all of it was given away fairly to members of this community.  It is a proof of concept coin that will showcase that it is possible for cryptocurrency networks to be sustainable after all the coins are mined via transaction fees alone.  You CAN mine PMC in that you can get transaction fees.

PMC is VERY rare (only 500,000 coins) but the community is VERY giving.  As an example, we're giving away 400 coins on Poloniex.  PMC has gone up a LOT in the last few days but is still relatively cheap considering how rare it is.  Enjoy!

For the record, I did read the rules linked here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/giveaway-threads-are-not-allowed-434310
