> When shares are connected, they are under issuer's control.

Not sure what the hell that means, but you're correct for all the other ones.

@nefario, @mila, thanks for clarification. I am sorry if I am asking questions on topics that are already explained somewhere, in that case just please give me a link.

So...

1. IPO is just the date of creation of shares.

2. Amount of shares created will correspond to the value specified at "Shares for sale in IPO".

3. When shares are connected, they are under issuer's control.

4. That means the issuer can either sell them at any time and any price, or leave them for himself, or send them to somebody.

Is that correct?

Thanks!

Very basic account to account transfers have been implemented.

If the server cannot find the account you're trying to transfer to it'll just throw up an error, other wise it will tell you why.

Also ordered the asks/bids on the asset page and put them into a nice, pastel coloured table.

Adding account transfers now.

Could you put the bids in the reverse order so that the highest bid is next to the lowest ask?

I should have checked the forum and refresh the asset view page
it was fixed before I sent the message

great!

Asset page is now https://glbse.com/assets/

Assets are also sorted by total BTC volume.

Taste the rainbow.

You need to vary your wavelengths more for a real rainbow, but glad to see it nonetheless.

@arsenische while you have unsold shares in the issuer / manager account you can pay dividends to stockholders of the already sold shares.

IPO at GLBSE is the specific moment when the shares are created and credited to the asset manager account (it's created for the asset as a sub-account of your personal glbse account). you can fill in the form and create the asset any time and specify when the shares should be creted (then they can be bought/sold and receive dividends)

if someone says the IPO starts this Friday and will last 4 weeks that's sort of not true. It means IPO is this Friday and the shares by issuer will be offered for 4 weeks (or until sold out). but there is no 'during IPO'. it is a 'now' moment that passes by ...

I like new design! Of course some features are missing, but I am sure they will be implemented sooner or later.

Unfortunately new design doesn't work well on chromium (textareas and input boxes don't have borders; they are white and it is impossible to notice them on the white background) Sad

Btw, I got couple of questions about IPO... Not sure if it is the right place to ask or if they are already answered somewhere..

1. There is the following sentence in the IPO creation page:

Quote
You must specify how many shares are to be created, for your own account (that is, for your own personal ownership and represents your stake in the company) and how many will be made available for sale on the IPO launch day.

I see where I can enter "Shares for sale in IPO", but I don't see where I can enter shares to be created for my ownership. Am I missing something?

2. Is it possible to pay dividents before IPO is finished?

3. Is it possible to create additional shares for the same ticker symbol after IPO is finished? (If yes - then how much does it cost and how will they be distributed)?

Thanks!

Adding your own account to have shares transfered into on IPO isn't there yet so don't worry about it.

The Chrome issues is specific to Chrome and not other browsers (Everything looks fine from my iPad and my droid). So that is a Chrome specific issue that I need to fix, won't be done before this weekend, probably done on Saturday or there abouts.

For IPO's there is pre IPO, and post IPO, it's kind of an on/off thing(an event actually), and you can't pay dividends before the IPO because no one has any shares.

Right now you can't create more shares after the IPO, this is just because I've not added it yet, this weekend I promise. Also there wont be any fees for creating more shares.

The site seems to be down?

Actually you were right, the server was down, although it was unrelated to what I was doing.

- the bid/ask tables are not sorted ascending by bid/ask price
this has been noted, is a bug and will be fixed

Quote
- the builtin-charts lack any usabillity. no information at all. http://charts.glbse.com/ has been abbandoned?! O_o
the charts get a bit better with time as there will be data to show.
currently they have only trading price history without volume and only since weekend

Quote
- no bitcoin history (no offense, but why make a new system, and forget to implement core-features?!)
- no market history (...)
yes, nefario mentioned he will migrate the history soon
he fixed some bugs in the meantime and makes small changes all the time

Quote
- authentification&security. what happened to the browser-key authentification? the current system is fucking insecure compared to the old one!!
this is the only thing that really bothers me

Quote
- why pay fees for this software? :-/
you pay fees for this software? strange ... how? where?
I pay only for the trading.
the withdrawals got even cheaper ; )

Internal Server Error when I try to vote a motion

Ditto. Tried three times, with two different motions, to no avail.

Working on it, will have it fixed in a short time.
