nobody could predict a global economic collapse and it cannot be predicted that it would collapse this fall,if that is so easy we would see many billionaires from these collapses as they would sell all their assets and will wait for the collapse to purchase again,as it is noted earlier these kind of collapse does occur due to series of events,i personally hope and wish that these things does not happen anytime soon

In my country, economy doesnt seem in good shape too.
Lots of working people saves money like hell. Noone really spends their money except food, clothing, heating.
Gadgets like phone does not sell very well, too.
As Marx even said and even lot others, collapse is inevitable. It will happen in sometime again. They will fix again and return back.

Okay I agree that it's better to save cash rather than splurge it on gadgets and whatnot but what's the point of saving money forever when sooner or later everyone is going to die and if you don't want to live like a normal person right now do you expect that you will have a better life when you are older but have more money? I don't think so. People tend to save cash like they are going to live forever and more often than not die unexpectedly leaving behind a fortune in their bank accounts for their relatives to spread among themselves like vultures on a carcass  Grin

Dying unexpectedly is not as bad an option as having your health slowly but surely deteriorating over time without having any money to pay for all those hefty healthcare bills. I don't think that with age you will be getting healthier (just what you say yourself), so saving (some) money is a must and a sane policy overall unless you are going to end up under the bridge in your own faeces. When you are young (and proud), you can't fully understand this...

Anyway, mother nature didn't intend you to live that long

It would seem so according to some: https://youtu.be/F1hUWHCiiVI so do you guys think the dollars time is up this year?
Don't think two guys can predict the financial crisis accurately, so i will say better to stay away being worried about any global economy crisis. Holding fiats in bitcoin may save in such scenario.

I doubt in this, economy crises are just manipulation. Economy can collapse, but as always poor people are the ones who suffer mostly. Rich people are more richer after crashes and collapses. Yes some lose a lot, but new millionaires come.
I don't think dollar can crash in some near future, industry behind dollar is very strong. That can't fall in couple months, years and decades are needed for something like that to happen.
It's entirely possible for there to be an economic collapse very soon, we're seeing it start to get pretty bad already, so something going really bad really soon isn't out of the cards. The industry behind the dollar is definitely not strong.

And if you think that a currency can't fall over the course of months, look at the Deutschmark, and the Pound Sterling when it was taken out of the world reserve currency position.

No way not atleast this year but yes maybe after one decade or sooner if Trump becomes prez

IMO, Trump will be better than Hitlery for the global economy. Things will get interesting if he is elected as the POTUS. There will be a US vs China trade war, and the real winners will be the other countries such as Japan and the European Union. Also, crude oil prices are likely to remain in the 40s or 50s, which will reduce the possibility of an economic collapse.

If Hillary is becoming the president of US, it'll be the start of WW3. She already did declare this, so it's not about conspiracies anymore. I wish it was, but... At this moment, we're trying to actually chose the smallest danger of our country. Two dangers, we gotta choose the smallest one. This is it..

Calm down guys. I am sure that we will see another global crisis in the future - that is more than certain. But I don't think it will be this year.
And if you search YouTube or internet - you will find that there are loonies who predict USD collapse basically every year.

yes i think its just a prediction for future and for now and a few next year, i think the condition still the same but with up and down conditions on market. USD will get position like before but no one know what will going happen in future so better we do all the best thing that we can do and we don't regret it in future.
I hope that it will not happen in the future.. but we can not control them because the population in the world is increasing daily.. and more people will come so i think global crisis will happen in the future so now if you are live better topush your self to be rich so that before financial crisis come you have a good money to buy something that can help you to live..

Lol only on a public forum will you see the source as youtube for crying out loud. I'm sure there are some economists that are predicting this. You really couldn't have quoted a real news site or something? Maybe even *gasp* a well written University study?!

Another apocaliptic prediction but I don't think this will be the scenario. Here I can't see no real arguments for that. Maybe the situation for dollar is not the best and global economy has serious problems but it will not be end of the world. From the financial point of view. At least not yet.

I'll admit all this sounds fine and dandy but, to be honest, all this stuff is based on a series of events taking place in the exact way these people predict them.

The US is definitely headed in a rocky direction but, I think these people are just a group of arrogant asses that want the satisfaction of telling the world "I told you so." They are no different than the religious groups that have been wrong time and time again about the end of the world.
so you dont believe the dollar will collapse then?

Aren't we already on a collapse daily? No, seriously every year they keep saying a collapse will happen without realizing that it's already happening year after year? My house was worth 200k and now I may not even be able to sell it for 50k, if that's not a collapse I don't know what is.

Maybe your reference point is skewed.
Just because one asset bubble has burst doesn't mean that the global economy has collapsed.

Savers are in a minority these days. Most people live paycheck to paycheck, or on their credit cards.
We truly have a consumer economy where people spend more than they earn.

Would be interesting to know there you come from?

Boom and burst is the nature of capitalism. On average, a collapse appears every 7 years. So next crash is behind the time.
I personally expect that the next crash will more hurt than the one in 2008 because back the central banks has almost no more space to act. Because of the extreme money politics over the last years, what led us into a world of almost no interest, there munition to fight collapses is always gone.
