Hey, I want to buy six coins. GNT, BAT, CVC, SYS, STORJ and WINGS. I have few questions. Im going to buy them all through coinbase/bittrex but my question is where should I store them? Also would anyone advice me to NOT buy any of the coins? Thanks

Some of them are ethereum based ERC20 tokens. You can keep them in myetherwallet. For the others i advise you to install their own wallet announced in their official websites. Do not keep them in exchanges. Exchanges are always risky.

First of all of them are good coins you can buy and store them in specified wallets which they have in main thread. I think some coin you can store them in MEW so it is the most secure web wallet for all ERC20 tokens.

Have you make any sort of research about these coins that you like to invest? Doing backreading make it easier for you to choose and find the best coin to hold the market for cryptos is really wide now so you better study first your target investment, you can store them in your on-line wallet I always find it safe but if you want a more safer place you can have the paper wallet.

You can keep 30% of your money in Bitcoin and invest 6 coin you want, all ok.
I suggest you can keep your coin in myetherwallet - it's very safe either on Bittrex, Poloniex if you want to trade coin. Anyway now buy altcoins is the right decision.

this is a good choice for him because we all know that bitcoin is the leader of crypto currency so we must have 30% or more which in bitcoin so we can easily if we decide to buy another coins. and for the rest of bitcoin we have, we can use it to buy any coins we want but we need to buy the coins which could help us to give the profit. you can save that 30% of bitcoin in your own personal wallet and i don't recommended to save in any of exchanges.

To be honest, you should not invest in any of those coins because they have zero intrinsic value. SXAS, on the other hand will, and here are all the reasons why.

I suggest to you that if you want to take a long term investment for your 6 coins it's better to store in on their own wallets not on the exchange websites because exchange websites sometimes has a problem regardings on their exchange like hackers entered in their servers, I have 100% trust on real wallet depends on your coins not in exchanges so many investors complaining on any exchange that their coins has gone without any permissions of real owners better to store it in real walet and when you want to sell it transfer it on exchange websites.

If you are buying it for trading purpose then no need to transfer it to any of the wallets. Because you need them time to time for the trading purpose and it takes a lot of time and fees to transfer your coins from wallets to exchange which is not at all convenient. If you are buying it for the long-term view then don't keep it in the exchange. If the coins are ERC20 wallet then keep it in myether wallet otherwise keep i their respective wallets.

Always keep your own Keys! Therefore, a local wallet is Best, But be sure to safely store your keys. CVC is a good choice! I expect it to be really soar in 2018.

For the best one is bitcoins of course, the price is still increasing and there arw many people invest over there. Second option is ethereum that been used currently as option of project and many company make money from here. The other like waves, litecoins, doge also discussed by many people will have bright future.

if you are interested in trading with coins then i will suggest you to buy altcoins because altcoins are cheaper in market but rememebr that there are various altcoins are present in market in which some altcoins are very excellent and some are not to good. so i will suggest you to buy etherum and waves and keep them for a time when the rate of these coins in the future then you can get enough profit by selling them.

According to the coins you are intended to buy, I wouldn't recommend you to buy WINGS and CVC. They seem to be a scam. SYS is a very perspective coin, we will see 2x in 2018. STORJ has already used its potential and I don't see many announcements from devs. Regarding GNT - highly recommend to buy it.
All coins having an official wallets can be stored there. For others you can use myether or exchanges. And the most important notice: keep all your passwords and paraphrases in hard copy, otherwise someday you can lose everything.

out of your picks I really like GNT, even though they haven't had much developments lately their idea is still one of the best out there. About the rest of your portfolio, I'd make sure to have some standard coins as it seems you haven't mentioned them, such as ETH or BTC. They will hedge and "protect" you in case one of your other Alts goes to the dumpster (always try to diversify your holdings), and BTC is a great hedge against any altcoin. With your wallet request, it's going to be tricky, certain wallets support only certain coins unfortunately and that really depends on the wallet provider (it's up to them to decide whether a coin will be included in their wallet or not). There isn't a wallet that supports ALL tokens out there yet, but some good options which are covered for your preferences are Exodus and Jaxx (they both have a list of what coins they support so have a look at it). You will probably have to end up using multiple wallets, but at least you'll have some of your holdings in one, and maybe the rest in another (so you'll have to use about two wallets overall).

I think with coins you think the price will increase soon, let put them in exchange wallet. Otherwise, with coins you think need more time to get profit, let transfer them to your wallet.

Your picks are good, just make sure that when you do buy the coins buy it from a legit exchange that you are confident with. Preferably you have verified with them as well because otherwise they can suspend your account anytime under suspicion of money laundering and the verification process is going to be long.

Once you get the coins, store them safely.

Hold the private keys, or you don't actually hold the coins.

Storj would have being a good investment  if you had bought at the ico,  although  your coins of choice are ok, i would go for cvc and storj. But i prefer getting at ico price.  You can store any one that is ERC20 supported on MEW,
