I have:
i5-2320  3.00GHz
8 GB Ram
GeForce GT 430

What mining i should take? CPU, GPU? Maybe there are more.
I started 3 days ago and i went on the one i first found well explained. CPU one. But just now remembered, that 2 years ago when i was buying comp, my CPU was not stronger part of it.

So... 750 Ti is better value compared to R9 280x ?
I can get a 280x OC very cheaply but it seems its power consumption level is just crazy high compared to the 750 Ti.

I'll go for the 750Ti OC. Good?

750ti on jackpot does 4MH/s, a 280x only 2MH/s, no matter if you pay or not your electricity(they should pay you for running a rig, maybe in this way is better to go with amd lol), 750ti beat any amd right now

Got it, thanks. Jackpot as in highest? I'll overclock it as well so even better results..

Thank you.
Some persons who will share such a platform?

i can answer your questions anyway

speed is 2.2 MH/s per gpu for x11 with a little OC

750ti can't mine x13 for the moment

consumption is around 320w mining x11 with 6 x 750ti

jackpotcoin give you  0.025 with a 6 x 750ti rig

wincoin give you 0.015 with 6 x 750ti rig

other x11 will give you at least 0.01

scrypt should be around 450w, but scrypt is dead for gpu so who care...

With the latest x11 ccminer for Nvidia, the 750ti can do 2.8 mh/s...

Is Jackpotcoin really that profitable at the moment?

that version the 2.8MH one, isn't out yet

yeah jackpot give you about 0.025, one rig does 24MH/s there = 150k per day at 15 satoshi = 0.0225 now

Cool, guess I can try that out. How's the power efficiency of it compared to X11 and others?

they are about equal

after some test i can say that jackpotcoin algo is more power efficient than x11, maybe because of the recent boost to x11...

Great information, thanks again.
This will be my next configuration.
Last question ... if you can work with optimized miner for x-11?

Maybe go to coinwarz or whatmine.com? They give you a list of all the profitable coins if your intent is to sell within a day or two. If you want to be a speculative miner, then the comments already posted may help more.

buy a 6 x 750ti rig , instamine the shit out of the crap out there and point it at jackpotcoin, which give you 0.02 a day or other coin that give you 0.015, there something between x11 clone

Would you share what speed gives this platform and how consumption of electricity.
Thanks for your time

i don't own them, because i have still my amd cards, and i don't want to sell, but i'm planning to buy a 750 rig too, still unsure...

ASIC scrypt miner would be ideal. But if you have your heart intent on gpu mining, I would recommend the NVidia GTX 750TI.

So within a couple days I plan to buy all the necessary hardware to start a mining rig. My plan was to mine vertcoin, I liked the idea of vertcoin because its scrypt n which is asic proof. But now I am hearing vertcoin has already had its go and it isn't something I should mine for.

So to all you knowledgeable people out there, what currency should I mine for the long term.

If you want to mine something and make a lot of profit, you have to speculate on a coin that has little value right now. As an example, MINT is at 5 satoshi. An increase to just 10 would be 2x the profit. Is it worth mining NOW? No. But if you're a speculative miner, it might be.

There are tons of coins like this.

Yep, a 750 Ti rig is a good idea. It's not so expensive, it's quiet, it uses a small PSU and it's not hot at all.

I'd agree, mining x11 with Nvidia 750Ti's is a good bet for a GPU starting out right now. The 750Tis are just nice cards to mine with considering their low power and heat.

You'll still be chasing the elusive ROI dragon, though.
