Was just about to download the new wallet, but await a fix for this first. Thanks in advance for keep us posted.
New wallet has been improved and launched & works fine.

The previous wallet worked fine. The improvement to this version is it copies the old wallet.dat file for users with legacy clients (pre 0.6.9.4) upgrading for the first time, whereas with the 0.7.0 version the user had to manually copy the old wallet to the new folder.

It appears the pool is running OK, The pool has found and confirmed its' first block since the shutdown.

The gld.cryptocoinmine.com pool will be shut down until the issue of disappearing payments is addressed.
Since upgrading to the 0.7.1 there have been a couple of problems with the pool including payments sent out by the pool but not received by miners.
The pool block matched both explorers so I am unsure of what the issue is.
Everybody will receive the coins they are owed, miners are not at any risk of losing the coins they have mined. I personally guarantee payment, regardless of the outcome.

Make certain of the following:
1. Your system time/date/timezone is set correctly.
2. Your miners are AT LEAST using client version 0.7 or above.
3. Your miners have their clocks set right.. (just remind them to set them if they haven't)
And if your transactions are showing in the block explorer you're likely 100% fine, its the miners who have yet to upgrade their clients..

Kelsey, that is a big problem with GoldCoin, where people are being extremely cheap, when in fact, they ought to be spreading those GoldCoins around more.

I think it is important to make sure that the GoldCoin wallet continues to be functioning for current users, but
the new update failed in that regards. My balance is showing 0.00 GLD in the new update wallet/client
Whereas, I still have the old wallet, and my coins are still in the old wallet, but that wallet will not synch.
The fact it would not synch at all, is why I thought I would update.
but for now my goldcoins are frozen in the old wallet, and I cannot use them.
I don't need this crap about how the new update is supposedly 'fixing the 51% problem'....
When in fact, the new update has made my wallet unusable, and is not showing my GoldCoins in it.

The instructions are clear and Akumaburma told you how to fix this easy problem, but it looks like you are not following the instructions given to you.
Furthermore it was you who started with demanding you needed to be paid 1000GLD for every link which you put your self on your site thats why everybody is amazed why the community should pay you.

What I told you, was that I charge 1000 GoldCoins for ONE link per month on the home page at digitalgoldcoin.com
GoldCoin has more than one link, so GoldCoin owes me more than that.
I have only received 1330 GoldCoins
Therefore I may have to remove the goldcoin links off of my site.
Who in goldcoin agreed to pay you 1000 for a link? and who actually paid you 1330?

I am just trying to get my Goldcoins into the new wallet, but the new wallet says I have 0.00 GLD
Also, the new wallet is not locked and encrypted, which I think is a security risk. Lets say I get my Goldcoins into the new wallet, but then, before I can lock it and re-encrypt it again, the hackers steal all of my GoldCoins?
And when I was downloading the new wallet, there was a name of someone that I am not familiar with.
Someone named 'Amir'. Who is 'Amir'? Made me wonder if somehow there was a hack attempt going on.
And why aren't the instructions made plain and clear for non-programmers to be able to get the new wallet working?
Ok... few things for you sir,
1: I am Amir, that is my first name. I am also the lead developer of GoldCoin.
2: None of the changes we EVER made.. affect your wallet, older clients <0.7 used to automatically copy your old wallet to the new directory, but 0.7 doesn't do that to avoid overwrites.
3: As always, you should backup your wallet before any upgrade.
4: If your wallet balance shows 0, and you're certain you have the correct wallet and are fully synched, then your balance is 0.
5: I strongly suspect you simply didn't copy over your old wallet from the Appdata folder.
6: We don't "unencrypt" your wallets, the fact that the new wallet you are using is unecrypted, means you failed to copy over your old wallet.
7: If you want instructions on how to encrypt your wallet, then simply ASK for those instructions and we will provide them.
8:
Please follow the following steps, if you were using a client prior to 0.6.9.4 before upgrading to 0.7.
Go to:
"C:\Users\[your username here]\AppData\Roaming\GLDCoin"
copy the file, "wallet.dat"
to
"C:\Users\[your username here]\AppData\Roaming\GoldCoin (GLD)"
and restart your client,
Now you should see your coins.
If it's too difficult to accomplish this, then your problem should be fixed in the next update.
9: We don't recall hiring you for anything, that we should pay you.
10: My name displays as a digital signature in the client download as it's verifying to you that the code is in fact official.
If ever you downloaded a client recently that did not display my name upon installation in windows, then you downloaded from the wrong site.
