Bloomberg - S&P 500 Companies Spend Almost All Profits on Buybacks

hmm, sour news (for equities), imho.

historically speaking companies typically buy back stock at market highs, CEO's are generally crappy investors.

Just my 2bits on the subject though Smiley

A way to fool investors into thinking company is doing well and hit the management internal target for stock option.

Something like that; a correct financial operation at best; for exemple, Lehman Brothers was buying back its stocks before collapsing

And the wall is gone in a huge buy.  Really thrilling times to watch!

That's great news. I'm sleeping. How did it happen?

That's bullish.
Was bought!

Indeed, we have volume again finally. So people complaining about no volume can shut up for a while  Cheesy

my opinion is that the wall is a bank or some vested interest in keeping the price suppressed.

But to what end? In a few hours fresh fiat will arrive (Monday morning in Europe) and that wall will be history and the (new) market trend will continue.
FWIW, I expect a rally and a period of stability near $433. sqrt(cycle high 683 * cycle low 275)

Who r u gann? Lol ya maybe because btc target met but ltc was holding it back before at 500 and now it wont crash to hit target so stubborn im waiting for it before calling btc a bull again

yes, the bull run is inevitable but they have to try.  the longer they can keep a lid on things the greater the chance they can discourage fiat from arriving tomorrow morning and the greater the chance they can kill Bitcoin.  it's sunk money for them.

Well, I suppose that either fiat is exhausted after $9mm in purchases (we go down) or bulls are encouraged by the lack of many sellers getting in under the wall (we go up).

Looking at current prices on other exchanges, I'd guess up.

Also, looking at what happened twice earlier today when that same wall was taken down, I'd guess up.

But we are in a long-term downtrend for sure.  Anything can happen.  I made 3 buys today, including a piece of this historic wall.  So I'd like to see some upside.  But I really don't care either way.  If I get more sub-300 buying opportunities, that is OK, too.
