It's clear that bitcoin makes a high returns of profits than gold but it also means it's more than risky to invest in bitcoin because of its volatility compared to gold that is more stable. But if i have a huge amount of money, i prefer to invest in both because they are both profitable and will offer us brighter future 10-20 years from now. And if one investment fails, we still have the other one to count on.
I do agree, you can make a huge return in bitcoin but the risk is also high compared to gold. Investing in gold is for the long term and the risk is less. But it is better to split the investment to both of them than choosing only one where you can literally make profit on both of them.

Let's say I have a huge amount of money as an investor, where do I put them? Bitcoin or Gold

We all know that gold is known for its stability which could be vital in times of financial crisis; but doesn't exactly bring good return  WHILE Bitcoin on the other hand can be quite profitable  but it's risk of negative volatility can be catastrophic!

So which has your vote? Gold or Bitcoin!!!!

Personally, I would choose cryptocurrencies, since they are easier to buy and this asset is easier to manage when it is better to buy physical gold, and this will definitely be difficult to do and this can attract a lot of attention to you. I am certainly not against gold, on the contrary, I believe that within a few years gold will definitely increase in price. I am more worried about something else, namely the ability to manage my active, and here cryptocurrencies seem to be more convenient. In general, if I had a lot of money, I would distribute my investments between these two assets.

When talking about gold and bitcoin, of course, many people will think that both investments are very profitable, but both types of investment clearly have their advantages and disadvantages, Bitcoin investment in the market may is able to provide the best returns to the long-term, but  Gold is more protection value and investment to secure the wealth we have and of course If we are an aggressive trader / investor, investing in bitcoin can be a wise choice to do, but if we are afraid of investment risks, investing in gold is the best investment option at this time.

Bitcoin is said to be a tool for money laundering and that's why many people are afraid of its future. But look at tomorrow's news, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and many other banks are accused of the biggest money laundering in history!  Roll Eyes

investing in both is very wise...
I see gold has a large fanbase and the average is women so the price of gold will continue to go up because women really like it. Bitcoin has an unstable price, if you really like make your adrenaline rush then investing in Bitcoin is great, but if not, I think Bitcoin will not suit for you.

As an investor I will recommend you to invest in both I will highly recommend not to invest all the money in one place  if you have no knowledge about bitcoin then invest less money because cryptocurrency market is highly fluctuated as compared to any other market and in gold you can invest whatever amount you want because gold is one of the oldest things to invest bitcoin is new

Gold is the oldest than Bitcoin, and gold is more popular than bitcoin in the world.
If it come to investment i prefer to invest with Bitcoin because bitcoin is very easy to make profit in investment and also is a decentralized compare to gold.
Gold take much time for the investors to make more profit and Is not easy to start with low capital to carry out exchange.
I think, with some years gold has spend to become popular if Bitcoin spend that kind of year it would be more popular than gold, so with that i choose bitcoin.

I think it will totally depend on how much risk you can accommodate and what will be the tenure. Bitcoin will give you more returns but is having extreme volatility. For the long term, you can consider it but for the short term, I would prefer gold to get some profit or very little loss.

Of course, I would choose gold, It has a big market cap it means less volatile, It is exchangeable anywhere in the world, some countries have banned Crypto as far as I know, and also gold has so many good features just by its physical being.
Gold is recognized worldwide as a reliable asset. This way even you hold your gold for long period you have an assurance that it wont lose value. Aside from that gold jewelries are indemand accessories of men and women so its not only an asset but a tool to look great. On the other side bitcoin is tagged as digital gold, the price is increasing but it takes time and patience. Many believe it will be recognize worldwide too.

The answer lies on the surface - take everything at once!
I would not keep all 100% of the funds in one investment instrument, because diversification saves nerves and keeps the hair on your head.
And in what ratio-depends on how actively you are going to trade and what you want to achieve. I would generally choose 3 directions (precious metals, cryptocurrency, classic shares of it giants) and would divide 33.3% between all my funds. This will save you from unnecessary nerves and allow you to more flexibly control your portfolio as a whole, compensating for drawdowns in one of the instruments with stability and a rise in the price of the other.

For me, this in conditions...
I will but GOLD maybe for my family and i will buy bitcoin for investment.
Because, gold and bitcoin for me they different taste.
indeed because both have very different forms, for gold it does have a physical and can have a very expensive price and the conditions for the exchange value tend to be stable and always increase, while bitcoin has an invisible form because bitcoin which has a digital form will make them safer and conditions of unstable price movements tend to have a very high risk and the advantage of bitcoin is that it does not need special space to store it, while gold still requires a special space to store it as best as possible.

Yes this is the point....and i mean GOLD here is jewelry not gold in stock market.
And for long investment i will choose bitcoin. May be this time to get more bitcoin in the market, my analysis oct - dec bitcoin prepare to up like 2017 and may be next year will be BOOM ....

I still do not understand why people feel like they have to choice an investment, I mean it is totally irrelevant if you want to invest into gold or bitcoin because if you want to invest into bitcoin you could invest into bitcoin and not gold, if you want to invest into gold then you can invest into gold and not bitcoin, if you want to invest into both you could invest into both and if you do not want to invest into neither you do not have to invest into neither of them. Why do people feel like they have to pick the best one out of each other, you could do both of them because they each have their own pros and cons, you could weight them out and see if you would like to make any profit one way or another and pick both or one of them.

This topic is made for someone who is confused about their choice, whether to choose Gold or Bitcoin,
With so many answers given by many people, of course this will help for those who are confused so they can make the best decision based on the considerations that he has had after reading this post.

Investing in gold or bitcoin both has advantages and disadvantages, and as investors, we must know the advantages and disadvantages before investing.

It totally depends on your target. If you target to have bigger profits, then you should choose Bitcoin. Higher potential profits mean higher risks, it is the challenge. We must be brave if we want to get something better. But if you are not really suer to deal with more risks, you can choose Gold. We all know that Gold is a bit stable than Bitcoin. Nevertheless, the chance to get bigger profits isn't as high as investing in Bitcoin.

If I had to choose between Bitcoin and Gold, of course I would without a doubt invest in Bitcoin over Gold.
Not because Gold is bad and not profitable, but I feel lucky with the volatile Bitcoin price. Because we can
use it to generate profits in a short time. Meanwhile, making profit from Gold we must be patient, because
the price increase is not as drastic as Bitcoin.

I'll take the second option, investing half of your capital in BTC and half in GOLD. this will benefit you. at least you have collateral on gold assets because every year the price of gold increases. whereas with BTC whenever it is unexpected, you can even get bigger profits than BTC.
I strongly agree. this is a wise choice, divide by two investments in potential investment products, we can still get the potential price increase from BTC which tends to be volatile, and can get a more secure guarantee from gold. that is why, instead of having to choose either one, it is better to take advantage of both.

For people who are part of crypto community gold is no more a charm.
Gold is like a snail investment when it comes to comparing with btc or other coins.
So this comparison does not make sense. It would be better if you compared btc with eth or other good coins.

It is obvious that most of the people are going to go with bitcoin. For me, bitcoin is better than gold when it comes to investment and profit because only of the high bitcoin demand and bitcoin technology. Considering that their is a pandemic investing in gold is I think a worst investment because gold might not get demand in the future. Or we never know when we are going to get the virus vaccine that could kill the virus. Investing in bitcoin that is just a currency could be useful than gold at this time.
