Its obvious that South Korea is not against bitcoin, maybe it just take them time to put up a solid regulations around crypto. And we all know how big South Korea (behind Japan) in terms of trading volumes, so I'm not surprise and this is a sigh of relief for South Korean crypto enthusiast. We may see a good rally, that started last week to continue and see the price go at least $10K when we approach Q4 of this year so continue to accumulate more bitcoin and get good profits at the end of the year.  Grin

People from Asian countries embraced crypto more then all others. Their governments have to deal with this changes sooner then all others. It`s always a good news when some government is open for this changes and they are working how to make it more better and safe for their citizens to use it.
After so many speculations, good and bad news, fear and panic about what will South Korean government do with crypto we finnaly have a clear answer, they will embrace it like Japan did. Good news indeed, now we wait others to follow this example give by couple Asian countries already.

The domino effect are starting to get serious now. Countries are are now accepting cryptocurrency one by one. If this doesnt change those wo are already prohibited it, i dont know what else does. This is also an indication that cryptocurrency is not dead and continues to progress, the only question remains now is, who's next?

The South Korea taking their move on regulating Bitcoin.

The government’s stance and actions thus far indicate an interest in encouraging blockchain technology and the growth of cryptocurrencies, but not at the expense of safety and security. Stated one trade ministry official:

"Any major reversal in policies is unlikely, but the government seems to believe a gradual shift in attitude toward crypto-based assets is needed. What regulators should do is figure out how to regulate them properly and prudently as Korea needs to put more emphasis on blockchain technology after obtaining knowhow and understanding of the possible flipside of cryptocurrency trading."

Crypto assets gradually become an integral part of the investor's financial portfolio. We already see positive changes at the country level.

That really is a very good news. Many countries around the world are attaching great importance to cooperating with some altcoins in the Crypto market and accepting its appearance in their country. This is a sign that Cryptocurrency is a very potential market and it will grow strongly in the future.
That is why I am supporting blockchain technology since 2 years ago. Ups and downs I'm still standing strong about it

That's amazing news to hear about South Korea accepted bitcoin, some countries now slowly accepted bitcoin in there respective country. And I think because of this happening hopefully some countries will follow South Korea..

i have  said it over and over again and let me still reiterate, the blockchain technology is one of its kind and can never be competed with by the local traditional banking system currently overtaking the native way banking system works. it will only take time for the world to know that. thanks

i heard that south korea has prohibited cryptocurrency exchanges from issuing new trading accounts before and if the news is trustworthy, the move is really favourable for the crypto currency market. I don't think they will reverse their decision completely. they may try to believe that it is not easy to ban all crypto related currencies and they have understood that crypto markets cannot stop or regulate by them.

I think its a wise decision from the governments of South Korea that try to considerating the advantages of Bitcoin. Right now, despite the pros and cons that come along with bitcoin the number of country that want to accept and legalize bitcoin is increasing slowly, and i am happy to hear that. Let's hope that there will be more country that will accept bitcoin.
Opening my bitcoin account then reading thisthe kind of news is really motivating. This is just a proof that bitcoin is getting known all over the world. I think this must prove that the system is very trustworthy and should be tried. Other countries must accept bitcoin and agreed that this is a legit currency. One day will come that all the world will agree on bitcoin.
I am patiently waiting for that day to come  Wink

Wow great good news for us! It really is. The South Korea country is now also engaging in the Bitcoin community. I was hoping that more people and country that still don't recognized digital currencies will reach such news and try to notice it and legalize Bitcoin in their country so that they will come to realized how good the Bitcoin is.

If there is any take out from this is the fact that times are changing and more countries are being receptive to the way they see crypto currency. The moment they are regulating bitcoin, it is by extension affecting the whole crypto industry. What matters now is to wait for how the regulation is going to run out because the article is just about what is to come and not what it is and that is what we should be focusing on now rather than rejoicing about what is yet to happen. Eventually, several countries would have to follow this path that is why I pity those who just decide to go the route of ban when they could have been the leading country in the technology of the future.
