Creating a sports betting content will require a good platform or better still an app, depending on the size of content you intend to dish out.
It's a good initiative but have you checked to see that there aren't others with exact same idea?
You also have to be plain on what we hope to see different. I think a mental picture will get you there faster than you can imagine.

having people with same ideas isn't an issue here, most times when you let your ideas about a particular task, you will see that there will be supporters and people with same idea, that want to share it for long but couldn't.
The thing is getting a better site for it that people can access and making sure to give all updates concerning it for effective usage and in the long run you will see everything working as planned.

It's a nice idea tho,but I think he should work on it effectively so it will be productive for the forum and any users.

If you guys like sportsbetting. What type of content to do you like to see, what where do you like to consume it?

For example, do you like instagram shorts of daily picks, or blog posts on the match ups, or funny videos etc

Am working on creating a lot of sports style content in 2024 and wanna know what you all prefer.
hello, I like compilations of the best moments with a player in a match or season, comments from coaches and media reviews, as for me this is the best thing that can be because it doesn’t take a lot of time to view the information. (This is if we’re talking about football, for example) It’s exactly the same with boxing However, comments from the coaching group are always more valuable information. In any case, publish your work here and we will choose what is better and more interesting for users.

Yeah this could be something that I certainly start getting into. I think feb 1st I will start to really kick this off.

I never watch content about sports betting, usually I watch about slot machine or live casinos. I don't know how sports betting can be used as content because we just place bets and wait for match to finish, it seems there is nothing interesting to watch.

Maybe it would be better if you wanted to create content about slot machines or table betting that would be more interesting to watch. To be honest I've never seen any content about sports betting on YouTube, do you have any examples of YouTube channels that create content about sports betting? maybe I want to watch it

I get it, sport matches can get boring sometimes, but how on earth can anyone claim that watching (not even playing) slot games or alike is more entertaining than sports games. What's there to watch in the first place?
Sports have almost endless potential to create content related to it. Other than watching games themselves, content creators could produce highlights, commentary, pre or post-event discussion, or statistical analysis of the performance of teams/players that could be helpful to anyone interested in betting, or even to non-gambling fans.

What kind of content potential is there for slot machines?

I prefer it with direct posta and not with content creators and such with involves influence of some personalities simply because there are casualties which could be encouraged as well particularly with youth who are more exposed with influencers nowadays. Atleast with direct posts of certain gambling pages, the audiences will be targeted and will not be generalized. Also this is to avoid biases; for sure we are all aware that some content creators are being paid to promote gambling sites with misinformations. No matter what we do to filter audiences from gambling contents, we won't be able to restrict all people we want to exclude but at least chances would be lessen.
~snip~

Yeah I was thinking of offering free picks although I don't normally straight bet games so not 100% sure if I will do it. I think for me it might be more of the strategy behind the bet, and not telling people what to bet. Thinking about doing all of the social media platforms, although tweaking the content to each and posting here.

Of course, sharing a bet and explaining the strategy behind it isn't recommending fellow gamblers to tail your picks. But just to save you the trouble, you can just put a disclaimer at the end saying it isn't a betting advice or tail at your own risk or something like that. But I guess it's something that might encourage some discussions especially since there certainly are other gamblers who are placing opposite bets. Lurkers and observers might end up fading rather than tailing. It's for them to decide.

Yeah that is smart, will had a disclaimer on the videos. Yeah everyone bets differently so I guess we shall see.
Does such thing really work? I am always seeing disclaimer from different videos on the internet but never bothered to comprehend what it says and there's a chance as well that meant to be excluded individuals are doing the same thing, but at least will still 'get' some of them with such message. Goal is to limited more people who are prone to gambling addiction. Gambling is inclusive to all but as we all know, not everyone could control their drives which is where problem arises.

I quite like sports betting and several types of sports are my main choices, but recently only Football, MMA, UFC and Boxing have become the types of sports that I like the most to include in my betting list every weekend.
I follow several official accounts on Twitter and also always subscribe to several sports news services to be able to get various information available in content and written information.
This does not guarantee making correct or accurate predictions, but at least I can have more knowledge and information to be able to make predictions that I believe in can provide satisfactory results.
When I lose, it is an example for me to be able to learn more and be able to have more experience in various types of sports that I like.
No professional gambler can develop without experience or knowledge and they will always learn from the experiences that occur.

Each gambler has their own way of viewing content related to what they need, one of which is sports information and each gambler definitely has different way of understanding the content of each content presented.

If you are going to create content around sports betting then that is very interesting and might be helpful, but my advice is to create it here or always share it here to be able to help those who may need it.

We have social media sites, blog sites, forums, etc. But, why not right? Doing so will make our contents stand out more from the crowd. But it's not easy. We will need a decent capital for it, for app and site creation. Then we will use some or most of our money to promote our platforms. Apart from capital, we should already prepare lots of good contents, so that we won't idle and lose our motivation easily.

We want to make sure that our effort and money won't go to waste. With that said, I wouldn't wonder anymore on why others or many content creators don't come up with a similar idea. But IDK, maybe some tried and failed quickly? Which makes us to hardly notice it.

It's probably best to have a combination of all those. Since it's all about sports betting, you can of course post highlights of games or fights. And then some funny sports-related or sports betting-related memes or funny jokes and videos to somehow break the ice.

But I'm probably most interested in bets and their respective odds and the analyses and explanations behind them. Of course, they should be posted before the games. It's even more interesting to feature those risky multiple-leg parlays. Sometimes I just copy and gamble on those risky yet confident bets provided there are also convincing explanations.

Hey! Because your name has YouTube vibes and it seems like you're into sports betting content, I'd say go for YouTube at the moment. Short videos and quick clips are trending, especially on mobile, but if you're diving deep into stuff, YouTube is still the go-to.

To boost views, you can try out YouTube Shorts and drop links to your longer videos for more in-depth info. For sharing on this forum, just throw in a link to your YouTube channel, cool?

Keep in mind, though, that YouTube might have some rules against gambling content. So, play it safe to get your content seen by a bunch of folks. And check out the local gambling regulations too.
Highlights: Google's Gambling and Games Policy is part of the Restricted Content Ads Policies. Advertisers must adhere to local regulations and target approved countries or states. Responsible gambling information must be included on landing pages.

DYOR and DWYOR
This is a very good idea because some people do get banned making this sort of content on YouTube. Thanks! I will be sure to post here too if I make some YouTube content.

what about you share with us some tips or sort of a crash course in arbitrage sports betting?

i read your thread about it. i can't remember where to start if i have to remember what it's all about but there are many of those people who tried arbitrage betting profiting so much.

Yeah I could work on this, I posted a thread on hedging promotions and have a free ebook on it. If you have questions about anything you can always Dm.

Of course, it will be daily picks or tips and make the best of those of those youtube shorts or instagram reels or whatever they call it. You can make a video of every game and the matchup and your analysis as who is going to win or what will be the handicap, who's player to watch, over and under score. But then again, it's a short video though, how can you squeeze everything? And if I may add, like for example you are going to create all about NBA, maybe you can post like top 10 categories or maybe old school players and highlight their skills and what make them special during their era. There seems to be an interest on sports in general in this kind of platform and I think you know it and so take advantage and who knows, maybe you can monetized your account in the future.

My favorite type of video for sports content is seeing the highlights with relevant commentary after the match.

That's my favourite type of sport-related content too. Even though it's not necessarily directly betting-related, as it covers events that already happened, it helps you to get to know teams or individuals (i.e. fighters) and their strengths/weaknesses in a relatively short time, which can be useful for the purpose of any future betting. Watching full games or fights is just too time-consuming.

I like commentary on how a team has been doing in its league, past history with the other team, insights on who is injured or who is scoring a lot lately etc. These things of talked about by a reliable source who knows what they are talking about can help you make more educated decisions in betting, so I appreciate this dissection of matches if done Right. There's surely space for such in gsmbling probably.

Seconded. But obviously, all games can't be covered, so the focus should go to the best-value betting opportunities, justified by the statistics etc.

I like it when someone posts his/her bets. I don't compare myself but it's like something interesting to me on how people does with their picks, if they're winning and how much they're betting.

I guess everybody loves to see that type of content and there's no sign of being jealous on it whether you're a big bettor or not, what it is for me is you are updating yourself on it for that content and to your audience.

Also, that will show on how you react to the odds to the favored matches and games and how you do bet on them.

If you guys like sportsbetting. What type of content to do you like to see, what where do you like to consume it?

Talking about regular content: daily/weekly picks could be OK, but I think there are plenty of those already. Maybe some picks of good value bets, where the odds seem to be misjudged by the bookies etc. That would be much more valuable, but harder to source.

As a one-time material, I've always been interested in how sports-betting sites determine odds for events, i.e. how things work "under the hood".

For example, do you like instagram shorts of daily picks, or blog posts on the match ups, or funny videos etc

Since you're asking on this forum, then bitcointalk would likely be the most preferable place, since all of the respondents are active here. For more lengthy comments, videos tend to work much better, so probably a youtube and/or other video hosting platforms.
You could make a dedicated thread here, posting updates, links to videos etc.
