Hello ScryptN.

isn't scrypt n just a bad solution. yes it momentarly prevents asic. but it eat just as much electricity for GPUs with half the hashrate. after N rises a few numbers it will be beter to mine with CPUs.

Hello new ASIC and BOT.net

And now we have FlowerTech claiming that their Scrypt ASIC will do Scrypt-N up to n=16384

We are looking into it closely, if they are able to release what they said, changing parameter in Scrypt - N is alternative option to prevent them.

i don't really care as i actually don't mine 24/7, but only at launch

and lol at litecoin being profitable, yes maybe when diff was 400 or something, at 2500 already there were other coins above in profitability

Nothing but 4 mhs and but I am still on the profit side with gpu. Besides I mine with the future in mind, not the present.

Goodbye x11 when people figure out FPGAs can mine them with little effort

FGPAs are expensive...

http://elinux.org/Parallella_Hardware

Only $99 for a board with both a Parallella manycore and Xilinx Zynq 7010 or 7020 FPGA...
keep seeing this claim, but haven't really seen any in action.

not that i don't believe it, but wondering how fast it can get.

I still find that CPU mining is profitable and has no electricity cost LOL

And we have now discovered who ruined Myriadcoin Groestl difficulty levels.

Ive just turned my GPUs off mining DRK as difficulty has shot up in the last few days.  I'm waiting for winter to settle in here in Australia before I go back to DRK mining again as atleast the PC will keep my office warm.

What are FPGAs? I hope it's simple to run lol!

FPGAs are very expensive programable chips.

I am glad I've stopped mining with GPUs 2 months ago and pretty much sold all my rigs without losing any money

Difficulty just reached 7k, it's barely profitable power wise to keep mining scrypt coins, I have already distributed my miners to scrypt-n, x11 and x13 coins in hopes for them to be the next norm now that scrypt ASICs have ruined it for GPU miners.

Good luck to all.
