How do you get more than 8 connections? That is always my max and I have many nodes in my conf. Any help would be appreciated.

well thanks everyone for trying to help with my wallet. still no connections. ive never had this issue before. i started over, added TEETH.conf with addnode=23.92.61.98... nothing... no firewall issues, im stumped. with or without wallet.dat i got nothing. dloaded the bootstrap, got nothing... guess ill just wait for the swap and send my wallet.dat. at least i got my coins there.

VARY is NOT merge minable. There is NO auxpow in the src. Why did you say this?

This brings us to Variance. If this staking system works well, the plan is to bring it over to GorillaBucks. The only difference is that we will leave mining active on this one until Block 8 million. This coin is merge minable with BTC and we will work with pools to get this set up later on
The way stake rewards are calculated are dramatically different in Variance. For this reason, we need to ensure the network gets to block 100,000 as quickly as possible for system scaling tests. The most efficient way to achieve this is to keep difficulty low for the first 100,000 blocks. Everyone will have a fair shot at the initial rush, but I would very highly suggest against renting rigs. Mining pools will most likely not be able to keep up with the rush of blocks being found prior to block 100,000. After 100k, it will start moving to more manageable, long term levels. I have a question regarding the upcoming swap: Lets say someone has $200 worth of gorillabucks, and have no other spots coins. Will this wallet lose 75% of its value after the swap because this person did not own any vary, or teeth or mmxiv?

If anyone wants to pickup 3 staking contracts for life, 4500 MMX, 150ish teeth and 200ish bucks let me know.
I do not think anyone will be interested, but may as well throw it out there.
Seems to me most are dumping but hey, you can always do what some did right before the last swap and stock up! So yeah, buy these and stock up now!
