You never can tell how long they have been trying to mess with your account, just have to be more careful and never forget the you're not just any user on telegram but a well recognized person in both telegram and Bitcointalk so eyes are always on you and everything you do. Telegram X is similar in UI but I guess it misses a few features which is available on Telegram and we can compare it to Facebook and Facebook lite.
Another possible reason could be it acts as beta software before implementing any new features on their main app which may cause bugs, crashes, etc. The concept isn't new though, especially if you are a Chrome user, cause its also available in Chrome beta, chrome dev, and Chrome Canary/chromium as different applications.
Install Telegram X from Play Store on your device on which the sim is used for activation of your @Royse777 telegram account. Don't worry TelegramX is not an unofficial app nor a modded version, it's just one of Telegram's official clients and also developed by Telegram-LLC.
A little off-topic, but why does Telegram have so many official clients, not just for web but apparently for mobile platforms too?

Given the last seen status that examplens provided changed from recently to within a week, I think it's safe to assume you're not logged in from other device [or someone else logged into your account from their device];
He might have an active session elsewhere (browser, app ...), what mean that it he open that app he'll found his session been open and active(getting messages in background for example)... but the "last seen" status just show the last time he has been used Telegram, send/viewed messages etc..
Given the last seen status that examplens provided changed from recently to within a week, I think it's safe to assume you're not logged in from other device [or someone else logged into your account from their device]; it should still show "recently" instead of "within a week", as it's still accessible through that other device.

I had a similar issue years back when my registered phone number won't send me an OTP for banking purpose. Happened for days that made me visited the customer service, which can't solve it too. They saw everything worked perfectly from their side and were confused with this issue.
Turns out, my phone number was in grace period. With everything available freely through the net [VoIP, whatsapp texting, telegram texting, etc.], I seemed to forget to top up my phone balance every now and then for a while and it went into grace period. Thus, no SMS will be sent to my number although I have a lot of phone credit.

I think you have to give it a little time more because you might exhausted your login trial since you have been continually sending confirmation codes. Wait for 4 days more or rather try log out every place you login your telegram account and then try to login back, because I could remembered when I was facing little difficulties with my phone so I tried login in my details to my PC and they sent me OTP to my already login devices so I have to copy the code from already existing device to my pc to have access to my telegram before purchasing a new smartphone.
For as long as you have a device that is logged into telegram, this SMS is actually a code sent to your actual logged-in account in form of a pm to prevent unauthorized access and is never sent to the actual number unfortunately.
Btw tried to register for a new telegram account and SMS never comes through and I went the extra mile to see if a solution is available on YouTube, and judging from the number of videos providing a potential solution this is a common problem..

I have some older TW accounts, with 5k up to 10k followers, they often helped me in similar cases. I can give you access for the purpose of communicating with the official Telegram if that will help.
I'm not sure if there was an update on Telegram, but your "last seen" status has changed.
Have you tried using a mobile device to login to your Telegram? At first, they will show you the received code for another device, but after clicking on : the code did not arrive or was unavailable, I can't remember what the statement usually is. Then, they will make provision for you to get a code using your mobile number. If you have not tried that option yet, try it now and see if there will be any changes, and if that works, you can then log it in to your desktop browser.

But probelm is that he has logged in to some other device as well and do not know which is that device, so the sms may never arrive and only the support can help to identify and logout all the unknown devices.

Was going to recommend him same, about using VPN, but it seems his other telegram ID working perfectly fine. So, it’s not VPN or connection issue with his account. It’s probably his mobile network issue, might have banned specific number where to receive messages. Telegram support sucks actually, they never reply you. But he can try connecting with them, hopefully they’ll help him.
Other than that I tried everything else including writing Telegram support (did not receive a response yet though). Even I got a new phone yesterday just to make sure my older phone was not keeping any catch, data log whatever it is. But failed with this brand new phone too. All other OTP works but it does not work only for this specific telegram.
Is there a specific number that Telegram use to send OTP? I may need to talk to my cell operator to whitelist it in case they blocked it or possible anything that is causing this problem.
