Yup i think there are some countries too that's not seeing the potential of bitcoin and they're just scared that's why they are banning it. They are scared that there is something that is not in control cause bitcoin is decentralized that may takeover their present currency and may create a ruckus thats why they're banning it as a prevention...
chances are a lot. the question is whether other countries follow the china step that bans bitcoin obviously the answer would not be possible even some countries improve their economics with bitcoin transactions reduce unemployment even i ever read an article dubai give a chance on bitcoin and legalize it.
Maybe if bitcoin has a bad effect of course the government in other countries will also follow what is done by countries that have banned bitcoin. one of the keys to the solution is to provide regulation on bitcoin so that the bad effects of bitcoin can be controlled by the government. so the government will not be concerned about decentralization and anonymity again but I do not know bitcoin users will agree or not about regulation for bitcoin?Did they succeed in banning it completely or people are still able to use bitcoin in China and the likes? I don't think any government will be able to effectively ban bitcoin because it's not in their hands,. All they could do is to enact and enforce stringent laws against bitcoin users and exchanges and make it difficult to use but i think people will still sneak behind and use the dark web and other places.

Banning of bitcoins depends upon the factor that what government percive it as and what freedom do people posses.
If thats a democratic country they will do what the majority wants, and obviously majority will support bitcoins.
But in a dictator ship people can't actually ask what thay want.
Also if a government thinks bitcoins are a threat to their national banks and their stable well being in terms of economics then they will for sure take measures to ban it.
But right now governments are adopting bitcoins
thus I think future is preety nice for all of us.

But there should be a reason in order to banned something. Anyways most of bitcoin users are making good profit with bitcoin maybe in future government support bitcoin rather than banning it .But we can't say anything about it . I only fear that after seeing china banning the bitcoins, just wondering if we hear same news from other countries too in future

the government forbids anything in the country because it wants to protect its people, if bitcoin is safe, stable and will benefit its people, the government also will not ban it

All countries are scared for their citizens who invest in crypto as they may end up losing their money because of sheer foolishness.
Of course no "country" is scared for its citizens. The only real reason why the governments might ever be banning crypto currencies and related services is because they cannot parasite on it (i.e. steal money from the people) and they usually substitute this real reason with a fake reason of some "preventing money laundering/terrorism" or "protecting the citizens" nonsense.

China went first, south Korea banned icos and then Russia blocked exchanges very recently I guess. All countries are scared for their citizens who invest in crypto as they may end up losing their money because of sheer foolishness. Now china declared the banning of bitcoin and we know that china have an big part to the bitcoin economy. But china don't control the bitcoin so don't panic they only a member of bitcoin i think they banned it for their own reason maybe for the sake of their economy or maybe the other reason. In my mind the next country that banning the bitcoin i think the alliance of china.
I am still optimistic about the news of Russia's plan on ban of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency but if President Putins word is final and executor then it is possible that this decision will influence other countries to follow in ban of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. While it is true that Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency can be used by terrorist, so does fiat and its been in use since the beginning.
Perhaps some countries will also prohibit bitcoin when they see that they can not control it, but I'm not sure that they will do it. Rather, the authorities legalize bitcoin to develop the economy.
China never banned Bitcoin. China just banned ico's. I hope they ban only scam ico's and exchanges.

why bothered of china goverment banning bitcoin when china cant control the bitcoin world.and besides i think they had just its plan how to manage bitcoin in their country.we must not be affected of that issue coz the bitcoin economy can live without some countries banning it..still majority of the countries believe that bitcoin is helping their economy to grow already china has banned bitcoins is there any chance that other countries may ban bitcoins?
Look around you, no one is banning anything.....there is nothing but a bunch of people acting on wrong information. It makes it great on the trade sites, but bad in here. Hard for the people with real and good questions to be found inside the mess of those that are trying to act on or confirm information that is not even real. We need to stop following and playing games around here and get with the real program and real information.
i don't hope that the other country will following china to banned but i think chinese government is not banning bitcoin and they will realize that banning bitcoin is impossible because now there is many new technology which will allow people to still use bitcoin. and no matter if the government banning bitcoin, as long as there is internet connection and vpn, i am sure that people can use bitcoin again.
The china will regret its decision for banning bitcoin in their country because it is a complete loss for them to not accept bitcoin anymore as a great cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has a lot of potential compare to the current money that they are using and banning it is such a wrong and worst decision for a country to make.
"Which country will ban bitcoin next ?" I think it is not the right question. Any government probably ban cryptocurrencies if they cannot regulate it by some means. However, legalization of credible cryptocurrencies are inevitable. Its just a matter of time.
