Mt. Gox is probably going to pull the same stunt they did with USD and EUR. They'll allow some withdrawals, especially small-value ones, and then their shills and sockpuppets will be claiming everything is just fine. There will be lots of excuses for withdrawals not working.
Expect the following excuses:

* "You need to reverify".
* "You have exceeded your daily quota".
* "You have exceeded your monthly quota".
* "Our hot wallet needs to be refilled from an off-site wallet".
* "Your request is pending".
* "All of our customer service reps are busy".
* "The block chain is backed up".
* "We are experiencing a denial of service attack".
I have my BTC there from somewhere in the end of december. I wasn't able to withdraw bitcoins since then.

I've seen nothing conrcrete that leads me to believe withdrawals are coming back to gox in the immediate future.  It took them weeks to get here.  At best we are still weeks out.

Update: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5298369 . I am not sure they will get up from this. They are way to much fucked up.

Is this a joke? That post is about protests...
Or were you referring to the protesters?

From: https://data.mtgox.com/api/0/bitcoin_tx.php … (take NXTID=4657075bee41929d8801a8379857c4a6c18f4916ca75491349084f74296616f2). Enter it at .blockchain.info

Therefore, things are already working (http://blockchain.info  and @MtGox). They are currently testing NXTID.

Hope so. I feel sorry for the ones that sold their BTC at bottom price while they could just gotten full value for it in the long term.

Well, if they have sold. They could buy back now on super discount prices. or am i missing something?

No reaction on Gox to this rumor, meaning its probably not quite ready and/or insignificant.

BTT: that's good news, I hope withdrawals on MtGox are up around the weekend and we can drop this topic and focus on the future of bitcoin again.
