I feel like as soon as the IPO coins go out today that will be the end of this coin.  He has to have a market place going soon or there will be absolutely no pressure for the price to go up.  If he does indeed have 70k worth of cards, he should pick a price and start selling them.  He may not make lots but it will start the flow and get some buy pressure for this coin.  In a few hours when we all get our coins, it is going to be dump city.

  Phad,.
i for one am an ipo holder im not dumping i will not be the death of yet another coin

start > type %AppData%

XP doesn't have a live startmenu like 7. You'd have to do Start / Run, and that's if Run is enabled on his Start Menu, which it may not be.

StartKey+R would be better.

wow bittrex is major fail. I put an order for:
53000 GPUC @ .00000012    .... That should total 0.00636 btc right?
It lists the total  price as .01 btc. yeah fuck thsi site

Different math I guess..?

sum(BTC) + all of the above sum(BTC)
it adds up

Thanks, you are right! It really says sum there.

Hail Eris!
All you have to do is unselect 'hide system folders' from options ...

They don't have that option in XP (atleast not this version).

And it is not "AppData" in XP, it is "Application Data".

I tried searching for %AppData% with no results.  I finally found it by searching for the config file and having enabled searching for hidden files and directories.

What kinda price can we expect when GPUC hits a medium Exchange?

0.00008 maybe?

That would be very very VERY nice! I hope it, for sure!

I would do a windows search of all files and folders on your pc including hidden files and folders and delete anything related to gpucoin.

Re-download the client and see if that works.

Thanks, I will try this.

I solved the problem with your help.

It is somewhat odd and probably unique to XP.

I was using the latest client.

I have a folder called "AppData" in my Owner's directory.  It contains the configuration for one coin and was probably generated when I installed that coin.

In the same directory there is a hidden folder called "Application Data".  The only way I found it was by searching for hidden files, in the Owner directory it does not even give the option to make hidden files un-hidden.

I found the config file and deleted.  Thank you very much.

Yeah, Windows is really bad about:

1) hiding folders and files from you it thinks you should never touch
2) putting things in different locations and calling it something different depending on the version ("application data" vs "appdata" or "Documents and Settings" vs "Users")

Glad you managed to sort it. I would be tempted to delete the whole file. You haven't used the wallet for anything I'm guessing so it won't make any difference just start with a fresh folder wallet etc

I'm on about because of the electric price here. I'm hashing at 300khash/s and pulling less then 250w

It's just over break even at that. Horrible electric prices!

Hmm this coin is no profitable for miners in the UK.  Making about 2400 coins a day at current value is £1.26
About the same as the electric bill. Ooh well

I'd have said that this depends on your hashrate and whether you can cross the breakeven point? You can't make a flat statement like that for all people. It just doesn't make sense.

What's your setup and hashrate?

If the folder isn't there, how about creating it and placing the files there by hand?

This is also very good advice. But ofc the asker will spit the dummy out of his pram and reject it. The twat.
