Is this coin still alive.

This has to be sarcasm, because you wouldn't have posted that question having seen the last post or 2.

It probably bothers some folks because it's a sore reminder to them of just how many people are lacking sense, or otherwise lacking wisdom and the ability to think critically, and how a simple emotional tease of the promise of a few dollars can sucker them out of so much money.

I posted up personal history on the originator of this project--his home address, what he drove, his previous employment, the fact that he was likely dishonorably discharged from the US Military, and how he had several previous business ventures, all of them having failed or going into some sort of insolvency, and yet people continued to flock and give him money.

He walked away with about $50,000 in brand new video cards and close to $10,000 in cash--he even admitted to this, and said he was hoping he could sell the equipment to get himself out of his loan debt.

It's an unfortunate reminder that some people weren't meant to handle their own finances, and yet continue to do so and plunge general society into ongoing debt.

hm is this still viable?

Yes it is, please go to the thread and let this die

Just out of curiosity, if the fact that people post in this thread once in a while bothers you so much, why in the heck do you pay attention to it?? Ignore it. Turn off your notification. Stop checking in every time someone posts. No one has to "stop posting", "and let this die", just because it irks you in some way. And why does it?

Sometimes a coin gets revitalized through a takeover that's only made possible by people continuing to posts in a thread.

Blablabla, this coin was a scam and loads of people lost money, including me, and it deserves nothing but death

What sucks is that it proved at the time that a person could set up a fraudulent business based on cryptocoins, connected to their real name, and the authorities at the time would not do anything about it because it was not big enough to interest them. (I reported his fraud to whoever I could)  Basically the lack of prosecution gave a green light to scammers and since then hundreds of scam operations popped up.  It was blatant fraud.

I don't mind beating this dead horse myself,  hopefully every now and then Jaymes at least gets a little nervous about being in the fraud game.  Sadly he is probably enjoying his stolen coins like an immoral little prick who does not understand the concept of hurting people.

Swap for CCB coins

What are CCB coins? I got a few mil of this crap doing nothing, might as well swap for some other crap.

Your wallet synced? Can't swap here... haven't synced in weeks.  Undecided

I did it ages ago men, and yes my wallet synced properly! Ask the CCB guy for the wallet! or maybe he can directly redeem the coins from your wallet.dat file!

Cheers

I am not in the position at this point in time to give any other advice on this topic. I am only an investor myself trying to help others out. But i will try to find any info if i can but it's not really my position. Please stick with the information within the white paper.
If you would like to know more, please contact: Antoun Toubia: [email protected] OR samuel Silva(skype): rajassia

cheers

Thats great, you have your opinion, yes there were a lot of people who were upset as they lost bitcoins in the initial investment, look right back to when GPUcoin launched, i know i was one of them.. So, What if the coin could be used in the ATM to sit alongside Bitcoin as the only other coin to be used as digital currency. the value will rise. But not only that, what if.. You can convert your coins later for shares in other companies to reduce your risk.

But to what end, is my point. There's like 20 coins which are crypto-atm compatible, several with their own dedicated services and atm networks. None of them are going anywhere.

Yours provides a similar service, but you still haven't explained what it provides which others don't already provide, aside from select shares which narrowly locks you into something even less fluid than a global transportation system. To me that's like saying, you can hand the keys of your BMW over and in exchange, I will give you a bicycle with one wheel, which has a more stable value.

It's a synthetic attempt to lock value to a fiat asset, but without a clear purpose, what does that matter? Crowd fund coin? Because it can solve issues that current crowd funding systems have?

You say it has it's own market value, but the white paper suggests otherwise, that it's being controlled by a central group (note that I didn't say a single person) and even then, it's synthetic control. The risk isn't inherent in the value (or lack) in the coin, thereby being reduced by an asset, the risk is the coin having no value because nobody needs/wants/uses it. This is one of the biggest things that people fail to understand in this industry. Even if you have a stable price, if there's no point/interest there's no flow, and when there's no flow it has no tangible value to the public.

I saw this.. Don't see the point to the venture. The company would also be the sole proprietor controlling everything

No single person can control the coin as the coin has its own market value. The assets that back the coin create a less volatile market by reducing risk. The same could be said for Bitcoin. People will want to use UCIcoin for everyday use once a market for the coin is in place with others using the coins within their own businesses.. UCIcoin, just gives you the added bonus of being able to choose to trade your coins for another investment with value or hold onto the coins and trade for assets later.
