How do i solo mine?
I use -o stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:6857
nothing happens... the port is set to 6857 in config file..

To devs, here are my recommendations for a relaunch:
- Don't rush it, take time to test , on testnet, or even an intranet network without contaminating other nodes.
- replace GetWork function to return min proofofwork, and mine up to 10000 blocks, checkoutput of subsidy.
- do not overpromise and under deliver, take time to scope it out, and make sure you test it before giving a solid ETA.
- Choose a NEW PORT, so clients don't get confused thinking they connected and then disconnect.
- Push code *without* pchtimestamp, and hashGenesisblock to github for peer review.
- Program subsidy rewards for 120-600 to be 1, to allow for pools to setup without unfair mining starts
- @launch, push code with real timestamp , hashgenesisblock and checkpoints to github along with clients. Clients do not need password because first 400 , or whatever so blocks will be 1 reward just to test pools.

Yes thats incorrect, you need to be on vertminer. you are running cgminer. Install vertminer then put your bat into that folder and change the settings to what is on page 126 i think.. if that helps you.
Thanks for your help. I did go back to look at the initial page and worked it out. Compiled vertminer and got that going... Well at least I learned something here and had a chuckle at the same time.
