And thats why Scypt ASIC machines are dead on arrival. No POW scryptcoin is so widely adopted that it can´t be replaced easily with another coin (unlike BitCoin before), not even Litecoin or Dogecoin. Miners will turn their back to pure scrypt POW coins. Mark my words.

For you guys that think you have to be there to start your miners just add the job to your scheduler or drop to a cmd prompt and type.

Obviously change the path to your miner .bat or .lnk and the time to your time

then just type "AT" and you will see it scheduled.

True, but pretty much everyone complaining is asking for it to be changed to scrypt.  I for one would have preferred keccak just for the reduced power consumption, but I'm not gonna whine about scryptn and make baseless accusations about how it sucks and ruins your GPU.

if cg or sg miner or vert miner allows this put --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3353 -u x -p x . changing the -o -p -u variants to a ool you normaly mine after the gpu pool data i.e vertminer -o gpupool:0000 -u x -p x --fail-over -p vertcoin:0000 -u x -p x that way as soon as a block launches at gpu it switches to it. pool goes down it switches back to failover untill gpu resumes

Lets hope the dev team listens this time and actually shows up at launch. (not thirty minutes after a failed launch, leaving everyone hanging)

This is a great question.  This coin is a great idea but the dev team is killing it with their absence.  Twitter and this thread and the coin's website should be alive with updates, info, and press trying to get the word out there.  The amount of information out is pathetic.  I am an IPO but I am going to dump them as soon as I hit a break even point.  The people running this only had a good idea but cannot create a community.  They are not answering emails.  It is sad because this idea is a good one I think. 

Even if there is no information to give, just the fact that someone is telling us that would make the IPO members feel a bit better methinks.

All I care about is getting my investment back really.  If the coin value does not rise enough for investors to make anything while GPUCoin is able to profit using using the investors money then that would definitely be somewhat corrupt.
