pps price keeps dropping, it has lost almost 6% since the change. As others have stated the average problem seems to be a negative feedback cycle, priced out miners lower their pps rate to get public work, which impacts the average causing other miners to be priced out, so they lower their pps rate, which further lowers the average, etc etc.

I have no idea how to tell whether I am getting public work, besides watching the BTC amounts change on each worker.  And I'm not patient enough to sit there and watch it.  Is there an easier way to tell?

Also, what do the blue bars mean?

The blue bars are just relative hashrate to the previous blue bar. Sitting and watching the shares being changed on respective miners is the only way I know of that public work is being performed =)

Anyone getting public work? My price is at .00005 and I'm not getting any; changing to .000045 didn't help.

Im getting public work. I wasnt a couple hours ago for about an hour. I lowered price from .000047 to .000045 and shortly after, it started public work again. Whether thats coincidence or noone had any purchased shares....thats up in the air. But yeah, doin public work now.

Any chance that there are more invites being sent out? Would like to play around with this as it looks rather slick.

Is it correct i can only use GPUmax for official pools.
but i can't get hashing power for test my pool?

What then have been senselessly gpumax?

is it correct, can you pleas tranlate back my bitcoins,
because I can use less gpumax.

You can point workers to any Bitcoin pool but purchases can only be made on supported pools.

To request a refund, please email [email protected].  Thanks.

When i using a Worker (on privat mining), then is it work.
The shares from the Worker was submit to the Pool.

i am using pushpool.

on the Page i can't select a pool software....

I have see, if i save the settings from a pool with the url http://xxxxx.tld:xxxx the page says "Can't connect to the pool" but if i use "xxxxx.tld:xxxx" it works.

on submit the settings are with http: ....
so i think this is the problem, then http is port 80.

http has nothing to do with port 80 its just the default port.  It should work either way as long as you are using the correct port, but make sure the pool you are using is a supported pool from the OP.  If the pool saves that just means the settings are correct not that its a supported pool.

Where can you find the average asking price of miners?

You can't AFAIK.
By buying? Roll Eyes

I don't think that's the average asking price; it changes extremely infrequently.
Mainly because the average ask is controlled by large miners. Little miners with odd prices aren't going to affect the price of large miners with normal prices. I have seen it change before.

This is correct, we have a lot of miners with 30GH+ and few with over 200GH which pretty much control the prices for now.

Sorry for being a newb at this, but from what it sounds like, I'm selling my hashing power through GPUMAX to some random, that random is then using my hashing power to produce shares for the pool which is paying out highest?

And this payout probability and junk can be determined by shit I don't know yet?

is that about the long and short of it?
Pretty much.

We're heavily backed up on purchases but looking at your account it looks like you have the purchase pointed to a non supported pool.  So your purchase won't even hit the queue until that is corrected.  You can change the pool by clicking on your purchase and choosing a supported pool (created from the mining pools section) from the list.

Thanks,
newbie

I've played around with my ask price.  By adjusting the ask on as little as 5 Ghash, It is possible to see a noticable, though largely insignificant change in the purchase price.

Here's to hoping the new coming soon Pirate references above will materalize rather quickly.
