I was playing 25/50/100 PLO at Argyll Casino in Edmonton when I picked up KhJh5d6d. Normally I would just throw this hand away, but I was down 20k and in a mood to gamble, so I limped in and called $500 more. 6 to the flop.

Flop comes down :

Qh,Th,4s, giving me an open ended straight flush draw. They check to me, and I bet $2500. Two calls.

The turn is the 5c, not much help. I bet $10,000 and get called by a tight player. The other guy folds.

River comes down a heart, giving me my flush, k high. I check. The other player movies all in for over 20,000. I instantly call.

"You're good." He says.

Well I think you have done great in not being greedy and $10 is a lot my friend and I think roulette is a great kind of gambling and I also have an experience in playing it well I am more than happy to see someone that is satisfied with their winning in gambling.

The biggest amount of money I won was $50. This is not much but I walked in wit $10 so I was happy with it. I never gamble but when I do I play roulette because it is the only game I know to play.

but I think with that 55 btc is exceptionally high enough too so what's the sad face all about? at least you have taken the 55 on your wallet, then I think you need to try again with the 3 BTC you have gamble with.

I once won $340 and I came in with $50. This was one of the luckiest days of my life. I know that it is not that much money and I am sure that people here have won thousand but I am not a gambler I was just there for fun.

HODLing is an art, not just a word...

the problem is that gamblers are not usually winners and that is mostly because they are playing games like dice, and worst of all they are using martingale method for dice which is a fail from the start.

i am no different either, but i am trying to change my games and move to games that are skill based like sports betting.

i hope i can come back to this topic and report success after a while.

I did never won in gambling and that is quite sad indeed, but sometimes I win of course some small prizes but that is not good enough to have my investment back.
I realized that gambling is only made for fun and not to earn some money with it, because you will always lose more money than you win.

Wow! congratulation with that I think that is a lot compare to getting busted all the time you play gambling, and I think luck is totally on your side that day and you got almost $400 of winning how many days have you been playing?

But I think that is also a big amount, a big amount than you can get nothing at all right? And there are chances that other gamblers doesn't earn a lot than 200$ then they quit trying well I think you are lucky enough to say you get $200 from gambling.

Yup! my first try in gambling I have bet on big amounts and not realizing the consequence that I'll be facing, at first I always win and in just a while I have lost big, well experience towards it have made me realized how truly risky gambling is and on that day on I am just spending small amounts by now!

i have never had a lot of luck gambling my bitcoins, to be honest i once nearly won a decent amount of bitcoins though i didnt withdraw at the right time and i lost it all

Actually you do. You can even bet with 98% win change. But of course, if you want to double your money with each bet the best you can get is 49.5% win change.
And it doesn't matter if you use some "strategy", the house edge is still there...

I don't know if it's a gambling success but had around 2 BTC from starting with around 0.10 BTC capital, played that amount over sometime and lost it. Would be more of a victory if I actually withdrawn that amount though.

Someone should make a casino where its all 50% and then find out some other way to make extra profit to make solid gains. a 50% casino would attract a ton of public because it would be rare. I think it could be done if you can find alternative ways to monetize your public.
