Too much of being greedy has never helped any one achieve anything good in the long term, most especially in gambling and betting, I've had a similar experience in the past in such a manner that is almost same as the op have experienced, mine had to do with an opportunity of cashing out on a multi bet when most of the bets had already won, the casino offered me the opportunity to cash out while my bet ticket is still remaining two games to go, i had already good profit if I decided to cash out, but I refused to accept the cash out offer believing i will win the star price, unfortunately, the next game ended up losing and that was how i lost everything.
Greed is one of the most killers of wins in both sports betting and slot games.
I can relate. There was a time I was rolling dices and somehow managed to get a good enough profit, I thought I was having a lucky night and instead cashing out I decided to go ahead and try to get some more before dinner.
As expected, my lucky streak quickly ended in less than half of an hour and I ended up losing my profit and a few bucks to the dices. To be honest, I think this is something which most people who engage in gambling and betting have gone through and know exactly how it feels, though, I have always thought it is easier to get greedy on casino games rather than sport-betting, because the quicker pace of the former in comparison to the latter.
Just my opinion, as usual.
