Also, when booted with all 6 USB risers connected, the most that we see is 4 GPU's.
To edit... just disconnected the 400w PSU as the the two GPU's it was powering were getting too hot.

hoping that someone can shine some light onto a little problemo with a GPU mining rig.
Specs are;
Gigabyte Z170 Gaming K3 Mobo
6 x Zotac NVIDIA GTX 1070 Mini GPU's
6 x risers
4gb Ram
3.3Ghz G4400 Intel processor
1 x Corsair RM 1000
1 x Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 400
Ubuntu 16.04
Mining with Claymore
The situation is, that the most we can get to work are 5 GPU's.
Originally we had only the RM 1000 PSU and for love nor could we get the 6th GPU to show in the system (in fact with 6 connected, the system wouldn't boot).
... So, believing it to be a power problem, we bought a 400W PSU but no joy.
Have tried mobo and all risers on same (400W) PSU, with all GPU's on 1000w PSU and mobo, risers and 4 GPU's on one with the other two Gpu's on the 400w.
Wtf are we missing?
