Same here, I got my 5 chip unit from Beastlymac early this morning by Express post. Yay \o/

Now trying to figure out how to mine without a guide or any skills reading Chinese is going to be fun Cheesy

I will post my "install log" here if I succeed before anyone made a decent guide already.


you on linux or windows?
im running win7.
if i get it running ill post install log too. but i just received my new PC parts today too, which to setup first! haha.

I am currently in the process of writing a guide for the silver devices and will have it ready soon.

I will have setup information for red, gold and silver units. If anyone wants to help out with contributing to the guides please pm me.

Extract cpuminer contents to a folder
Create bat file with minerd --freq=600 --gc3355=COM3 --url=xxxxxxx --userpass=xxxxxx:xxxxxx
Plug power into the cell
Plug data into cell
Go to device manager
Look for the STMicroelectronics under ports (COM & LPT)
Update batch file with COM port
Run example
Happy mining
