I'm out as well and sent a pm requesting a refund of my BTC a few hours ago. As soon as I receive that refund in full I will be leaving positive trust for Cxboy. He has acted honestly and  honorably throughout this whole thing and has put in a huge amount of effort.

Same.

+1

pm sent with refund address. If this can be re-organised and tried again (maybe 200 units instead of 500?) I would once again be interested in between 11-30 units depending on price. (0.5BTC each would be nice if delivery is expected mid-January)

This GB simply got out of control, at no fault to CX. price changes, paypal issues, and buyers dropping out are always an issue with a group buy this large.

Hi,

You should receive a pm from me about the refund by now.

Thanks for the support!!! Maybe, it's just not our year this time...

cxboyminer..

i'm still up for 11 sticks but i'm wondering how we pay with PP if it's blocked.

let me know thx

Paypal is not an option now. only bitcoin is accepted.

yes i understand that from the thread... but you still ask PP for shipment fee...

so how do we deal with that?

You don't have to deal with that anymore.

lol thank you noble man Tongue Tongue Tongue

Sure I want to get USBs at the best price possible; not trying to be philanthropic.  But I'm not trying to muscle people out of the GB to grab more;  I just want to get my USBs and getting 33BTC fully paid is the only way to get that done.  Sitting around listening to people whine about issues with their paypal accounts, or how the dog ate their wallet certainly won't get any USBs in hands.
Paypal sucks; not sure why everyone didn't already know that?

Could it be the extraordinary greed shown by some in this thread? I'm sure that dave111223 will be first in the queue for the redistribution for "unavailable on christmas/boxing day" people who didn't respond.

Not at all.  I would not have purchased any of the additional USBs, I only wanted 51, but purchased 20 more in order to try and get this GB funded; but i was at the limit of what i could pay.  My interest was only in getting the group buy funded/shipped ASAP, instead of dragging on indefinitely with a list of non-paying orders.

Those who would like to see this through are probably flogging a dead horse. But thanks goes to Cxboyminer for trying to put this together and hopefully he can capitalize on this experience moving forward.

I'll keep on eye on this thread over the next 24 just in case ...

Since getting BTC is not straightforward first time, I can offer to take UK,US visa/mastercard/PP at 4.9% fee.  Refunds will have to be made in BTC minus fees payed (dont want to risk getting in trouble making bulk refunds with payment processors).

Shipping only to Credit card and PP addresses. Funds will be sent to cxboy bank account within one hour of making the payment, cxboy would have to convert to BTC to make the payment.

too bad my refund is now stuck and i cant. but if you do paypal to btc conversion for 4.9% its interesting...

I'll provide a link to purchase antminer, pick your amount pay PP or CC, as soon as I get the payment I'll wire to cxboy. Need to know the basic fee per unit then add up the 4.9%. Don't know if this will be ok for cxboy though, he needs a UK banc account without restrictions.

If this can go through, that would be awesome. I hope he reads this before issuing refunds!

just187: fine, thanks a lot. How much more do you think of? Would you take all of the remaining 5 BTC?

and of course: Anyone else want to help?

FlensGold: Thanks a lot. This would boost us by 4.15 BTC. Would you please consider to pay 9 BTC? This would be 0.072 pp. This would follow the suggestion of dave111223. I think it is fair to carry the costs of the GB together. And it is still cheap enough to make money selling it.

Anyway, this would take us to 28,1116 BTC available and 6.522 BTC stuck in Paypal.

Anyone else want to help?
